August is Here!
Sorry to be the one to announce the obvious-but today is August 1st. School starts in 27 days (less than 4 weeks)! Your summer is 2/3 over. How are you all feeling about that? Are you ready to be back or do you need another 10 weeks of summer? Did anyone start their school supply shopping yet?

i really don't want to go back, this is the 1st year that I am NOT excited to go back! and i don't really know why, but i wish we could have MORE summer.
I got everything ready for school but I'm not ready to wake up at 6:00 at all! I can't stand waking up early and with my mom's new job I have to take the bus and I just like to sit in a corner and thing about the concept of life while everyone else on the bus is being obnoxious tenage hoodlums, no offence to those people but it's just too loud on all the school bus trips I've been on. More summer is a good idea and I wish the could cut the beginning of the school year to late October so we would have some time to enjoy the fall and get to know are parents a little better. School I guess is more important to certain people then it is to others. The only thing I am looking forward to at school is seeing people like Niko, Jacob, Jack, Cody, and Johann on a regular basis, playing large games of american football at recess, and of course I love to sit and talk with the teachers. I will miss Caleb a lot too. I could use a school that starts at 10:00 and ends at 15:00 with no homework, but like that's ever going to happen.
I finished school suply shopping in 1 day. This will be the first time I'm happy to go back to school. Why? Because I don't have to go to Valpo yet!

Whooo Hoooo! Yeah, school! I had all my supplies in like 3/4 into July!!! I can't wait!
