First, I woke up at 5:30 and took a shower like every morning. Then, my mom told me to just put my pj’s back on because it might be a snow day. I highly doubted it would be one. When I finally looked on the Internet and saw we had a snow day, it was around 5:45. After that I relaxed for a little while. Then Morgan and I went out to play in the snow. We really wanted to go sledding, but my mom wasn’t feeling well and so my dad took her to the walk-in clinic. Finally, my babysitter came over and took Morgan and me to the Live Nativity I had to sing at. When we got home, my mom was watching Ice Wars-2006, a skating competition for professionals, World vs. USA. World won of course, and then we did this advent devotional my babysitter gave us. Then we went to bed.
I did many things on my snow day. We have a cool hill at our house tha I sleded on. I went so far. I also watched a cool movie. Then I made a snow fort. It was super fun. I made it with my brother Lewis. We had a snow ball fight after that. The rest of the day I just hung around the house. My favorite part of the day was when me and my brother went looking for a christmas tree to put in our room. We found a good tree and we cut it down by ourselves. Then we dragged it back to the house. We have not put it up yet, but we will soon.
I just hung out, once I learned it was a snow day I just went on the computer and spent nearly 2 hours on wookiepedia (the star wars wiki). Then I played NBA Live 2006 on my Game Cube. I went out side for a bit so I could play with Henry (my dog). I checked on my neighbor but he was still sleepy. Then I went to work on legos for 4 hours, after my long work I completed a lego model of the Z-95 Headhunter from the star wars universe (it's genraly considered the predesessor of the X-wing you see in episode 4 A New Hope). Then my neighbor invited me over with his friends and then we had a massive snow ball fight in the ditch in the front yard of his house. By then I eat dinner and modify my headhunter a bit, then I go in my room, finish my homework while listening to every song I own from Hoobastank. That is how I spent the snow day, to be honest that was one of the few days I was looking forward to school, but oh well.
I woke up took a shower and was getting dressed and just then my brother comes running down the hall saying, we don’t have school. Cedarburg school districts closed. I finished dressing so I went to go eat breakfast. After that I got my snow stuff on to go shovel. After I was done shoveling I went sledding down our ditch and just laid there at the bottom of our ditch with my eyes closed all of a sudden there was a bang. I didn’t know what it was. I got up, picked up the sled, and went running to put it away and go inside. When I got inside my mom said its just thunder. So I took all of my snow stuff off and the kids my mom sits for started coming. We watched a movie while I fed baby Owen a bottle and he fell asleep in my arms. After I ate lunch my friend and I red for an hour. We went outside in our snow stuff and tried to make forts. Then we came inside and had hot chocolate and colored. We played outside more and we played in our basement. Everybody got picked up and I got ready to go to the live nativity scene for choir. After that I went to my aunt and uncles house for a while and then went home and went to bed.

Out the window, I saw that the ground was covered in a deep sheet of snow. It looked like vanilla frosting on a cake. I ran down the hall to my parent’s room, and right away, my dad said that school was closed! I was too excited to go back to sleep. That morning, I baked Snickerdoodle cookies for Share-A-Meal (Living Stones), and the house smelled like cinnamon. After I made the cookies, I went up to my room to play with my cat, Scamper, as I listened to Christmas music on the radio, trying to get in the Christmas spirit. Soon, I wanted to go outside to play in the snow. I built forts with my neighbors, and then, I went sledding with them. The snow was deep at the hill where we went sledding; it was up to my neighbor’s golden retriever’s chest. We flew down the hill forwards and backwards trying all kinds of cool ways to sled down. Soon, the sun went down, and dark clouds loomed over our heads, so we started back. When we arrived home, we said good-bye, and I ran home to warm up by the fireplace. After supper, I decorated my room with a strand of Christmas lights and other festive things. I was tired after the big day, so I went to bed. I can’t wait until our next snow day!
Well how is everyone doing today, well this is Jonah speaking at the moment. First I woke up to my brother throwing a snow ball at my face.I woke up in amaze, as I found out that I Jonah Durham has been privleged with the wonderfull snow day. I got up and started to dance, first I danced the electric slide, and then I danced other many dances. Later that morning I started to enjoy my woderfull deleciouse hot coaco. It was very satisfing but yet tasted like a nicely cut of choclate cake.
My story comes back as I was walking to my friends house. He was having a party. So we invited all the girls, and guys. It was fun. I went home after everyone else left, and I came home and did my homework that I did'nt do the last night, because I was convinced that it would be a wonderfull snow day.
I was amazed when it happened I woke up and shouted for joy. Finally a day off of school it was a miracle. First I went on the computer for a half hour. Then I went to measure the amount of snow we got. About six inches of snow. Then I went outside to sled me and my brother made forts instead. We had a good snowball fight I won easily. Then I went sledding and came in about three hours later. Then I did not know what to do so I went on the computer for an hour. Next I went outside to have more fun I sled for an hour and then and went in. Then my dad came home at three thirty and I help him snow blow the snow. After that I and my brother helped my dad clean my grandmas. We got are new scarves that she always makes. Then we all went home and ate dinner. That is what I did on the snow day we had Friday.
P.S. it was so fun not having school for three days.

Like on every news channel they were talking about the "blizzard." Then I went upstairs to wake up Ben and Rachel. Ben screamed and so did Rachel. We went outside right away. The snow was blinding us and stinging our faces. We decided to go in and come back out when the snow settled a bit. Later on in the afternoon we went out and built an awesome fort. At 3:30p.m. we had to go to my mom's meeting. We sledded on the hill at school for an hour and a half. After that we went to Miss Miller's house and helped her shovel her driveway. After a long and tiring day we finally went home and ate some warm supper then we went to bed.

After we were done packing we ate breakfast and then we went outside and played in the snow for a long time and had some what of a snowball fight then went in for apple cider. It was a very fun day.

On our snow day, I slept in until 9:00 a.m. When I came downstairs I shocked that my mom didn’t wake me up in time to go to school. I hadn’t realized that it was a snow day. I called my neighbor Emily Wolff to see if she wanted to play outside in the snow. I went over to her house and played with Emily and her two brothers Sam and Owen. We had a snowball fight. Later, I watched TV and played on my game boy. I didn’t have to do any homework because I had already finished it. After, my dad got home from work we went to the theater and watched Deck the Halls. I enjoyed it very much and I am so glad we had a snow day.

First, when I woke up at 10:30 I got in the shower for a half-hour because I was so cold I did not want to get out! Then I went into the kitchen and my Mom said that my Grandparents were going to take us up north to go snow-mobiling. Then I ate some pizza for lunch and packed my bags. Since we didn't shovel yet and the snowplow came by we had a huge pile of snow blocking our driveway so we couldn't get the truck out of our driveway. Then we shoveled ourselves out, and it only took about fif-teen minuets because everybody pitched in and we helped each other. Then my Grandparents picked us up to go snow-mobiling, but first we had to load our sleds, snowboards, and tubes. When we got there things were going smooth until I drove the snowmobile into a ditch and we spent about twenty-five minuets shoveling it out. When we were done we went inside and had some hot-chocolate. After dinner we drove back home and decorated the Christmas tree. Then after a long day of fun at eleven thirty we went to bed.

Then when my mom got back from work she turned off my alarm so that I did not wake up at six. then I woke up at eightish. As soon as I had enough energy I ran outside. My house has a few little hills so I tried to go sledding down a few of the hills, but ma few minutes later the storm sirens started ot go off so I went inside because the thunder that I heard in the morning wass pretty loud and the lightning was a pure white color. As soon as I was in the house, the sirens went off. Later on I went back out but this time my sister came out side too. We wanted to makek a snow fort but our plow man didn't come yet. Then I did my home work. Later on while we were watching the news at nine we saw kids making igloos with rubbermaid containers. So at abou 9:40 we went ouytside and started on our igloo. We stopped at 10:00 and we still aren't ever done with the first story yet!
Snow Day! I wasn't to happy about the snow day. I was all ready going to have the day off. I was leaving for Eagle River Thursday night and wouldn't be at school on Friday. My brother and mom were hoping for a snow day so they wouldn't have to go to school. Were I was, we didn't get any snow at all. There was only a light covering of snow. You could still see the grass. My dad told be about the storm when he finally talked to my mom. When I got back on Sunday, it didn't look so bad. There was snow but not enough not to have school. In the end it all worked out because I didn't miss a day of school.

Today I got up at 7:30 I thought the clock was wrong. Then I went down stairs and looked outside there was tons of snow. So I went to my mom to see if there was school and she said no theres no school and I said finally a day off. At 8:00 I played Need For Speed Underground on my Gamecube for two hours. After that my dad took me to my neighbors house on his Ski-Doo. When I got there D.J.,Lucas,and I built a huge snow fort. When we finished it my neighbor and I played tackle football in the snow. Then my family went bowling.

Then they desided to go downstairs and play on the computer so I finished my guy and went down. I watched them play for about 15 minutes and then we had to go. Later, we went to the Live Nativity and sang. After that, we ate at Sal's. We went home and I finished the book I was reading. Then I went to bed.

Within minutes we were outside. The fierce winds and downpour of snowing was making it so hard to see and shovel. The snow was faliing faster than I could imagine. So it was time to crank up the snow blower. I was outside blowing snow for an hour but got bored so I couldn't do the sidewalk. I played tackle football with my nieghbor for awhile and got soaked. When I came back Becca and Rachel started a fort and we got glued to that. I had so much fun but most of all I liked being able to bring the hot chocolate back out. It tastes so good when you put 3 spoonfulls of mix in. We went outside on and off the entire day. I was so tired at the end of the day and decided to rest for awhile before dad got home. That was the best snow day EVER!!!
I did way too much on the snow day. I woke up at 6:00 to the sound of Becca screaming in the hallway. So I woke up to see if it was true. There on the TV were the words, CEDARBURG SCHOOL DISRTICT. On our snow day, I slept in until 9:00 a.m. When I came downstairs I shocked that my mom didn’t wake me up in time to go to school. I hadn’t realized that it was a snow day. I called my neighbor Emily Wolff to see if she wanted to play outside in the snow. I went over to her house and played with Emily and her two brothers Sam and Owen. We had a snowball fight. Later, I watched TV and played on my game boy. I didn’t have to do any homework because I had already finished it. After, my dad got home from work we went to the theater and watched Deck the Halls. I enjoyed it very much and I am so glad we had a snow day.

First, when I woke up at 10:30 I got in the shower for a half-hour because I was so cold I did not want to get out! Then I went into the kitchen and my Mom said that my Grandparents were going to take us up north to go snow-mobiling. Then I ate some pizza for lunch and packed my bags. Since we didn't shovel yet and the snowplow came by we had a huge pile of snow blocking our driveway so we couldn't get the truck out of our driveway. Then we shoveled ourselves out, and it only took about fif-teen minuets because everybody pitched in and we helped each other. Then my Grandparents picked us up to go snow-mobiling, but first we had to load our sleds, snowboards, and tubes. When we got there things were going smooth until I drove the snowmobile into a ditch and we spent about twenty-five minuets shoveling it out. When we were done we went inside and had some hot-chocolate. After dinner we drove back home and decorated the Christmas tree. Then after a long day of fun at eleven thirty we went to bed.
On my snowday, I woke up at 5:30, and hopped out of my bunk bed exited to see if it was a snow day. My mom and I watched tv for a while until she went online to check...It was a snow day! I was so excited I decided to dance! So after that, I slept on the couch next to Mom and Jordan for a bit, then Dad made a HUGE breakfast. I went outside, and with the snow getting my face cold, I went inside for a little bit again. My mom and I made cookies, and then I went online to chat with friends. Then I went outside for a minute and came back in later because my face was FREEZING. I did many more things then I went to bed. THE END
First I woke up at about 6:00 because I could not sleep. I then went on the computer. I played on the computer for about and an hour and a half. After that I watched TV for a couple hours. After sitting around bored out of my mind I finally got up and helped shovel the driveway, it was hard. My fingers felt like they would break off on the next shovel full, and the flakes of snow hit my face so hard it felt like thousands of needles where hitting my face. After that I came inside and ate something for lunch. After eating lunch I sat around watching more TV. Then after all the other things that I did that I can't remember I went to bed.
On the snowday I woke up at five thirtyish A.M. because my dad's alarm went wack and started to go off. Then when my mom got back from work she turned off my alarm so that I did not wake up at six. then I woke up at eightish. As soon as I had enough energy I ran outside. My house has a few little hills so I tried to go sledding down a few of the hills, but ma few minutes later the storm sirens started ot go off so I went inside because the thunder that I heard in the morning wass pretty loud and the lightning was a pure white color. As soon as I was in the house, the sirens went off. Later on I went back out but this time my sister came out side too. We wanted to makek a snow fort but our plow man didn't come yet. Then I did my home work. Later on while we were watching the news at nine we saw kids making igloos with rubbermaid containers. So at abou 9:40 we went ouytside and started on our igloo. We stopped at 10:00 and we still aren't ever done with the first story yet!
Snow Day! I wasn't to happy about the snow day. I was all ready going to have the day off. I was leaving for Eagle River Thursday night and wouldn't be at school on Friday. My brother and mom were hoping for a snow day so they wouldn't have to go to school. Were I was, we didn't get any snow at all. There was only a light covering of snow. You could still see the grass. My dad told be about the storm when he finally talked to my mom. When I got back on Sunday, it didn't look so bad. There was snow but not enough not to have school. In the end it all worked out because I didn't miss a day of school.

This is what I did over the snow day. First thing I did in the morning was I woke up at 5:54 and went and sat on the couch. My mom told me to watch the news and see if F.I.L. was called off. I watched and watched for a long time and finally saw that our school day was called off. Then I watched a movie and then ate breakfast. For a while after breakfast we cleaned the house. I vacuumed, dusted, and swept the kitchen floor. We ate lunch and then put up a couple decorations for Christmas. After that my sister and I went outside to play. I made a little fort and tried making a snowball but it didn’t stay together. Last I went inside had a cup of hot chocolate and watched TV. That is what I all did over the snow day.
I woke up at 5:47 which is early considering I normally wake up at 6:15. I knew something was different because my sisters we like jumping around! I knew right then... SNOW DAY! So after laying on the couch watching the news to make sure we really did have a snow day, my dad said that I could help shovel but then he decided not because it was just going to snow a lot more. So I played PS2 for a long time then I got bored and called Jenna and we were going to go sledding like we almost always do, but she couldn't so I just went sledding with my brother at the Parkview hill. Then after that I stayed at home with my brother and we just kind of hung out. Of course Connor and I were both exhausted so we both fell asleep very fast!
First I woke up at around 5:15 5:30 I ran to my parents room it said on the tv CEDARBURG SCHOOL DISTRICTS CLOSED I was so excited I ran and woke up my brother and sister and tolod them it was a snowday. I ate a nice breakfast and we started to put up Christmas decks in the house. Then me my brother and sister went outside and went sledding. We had a great time. My sister and I went and built a fort. Later the neighbors came and we played tackel football. That was a great day.
First, I woke up at like 8:00A.M. Then I went down stairs and saw my dad on the computer not getting ready for work, so then I knew it was defiantly a snow day. I ate breakfast at 10:00A.M. And thought maybe I should go out side and play because snow days are very rare to me. After I was bored with that, my dad said I was going to a birthday party at my friend’s house at 3:30P.M. When I got to my friend’s house we went on his dune buggy threw the snow. Then I and my friend Garret hooked a sled to the back of the dune buggy and went threw the snow. At 11:00P.M. we finally stopped going on the dune buggy and I went home.
Today I got up at 7:30 I thought the clock was wrong. Then I went down stairs and looked outside there was tons of snow. So I went to my mom to see if there was school and she said no theres no school and I said finally a day off. At 8:00 I played Need For Speed Underground on my Gamecube for two hours. After that my dad took me to my neighbors house on his Ski-Doo. When I got there D.J.,Lucas,and I built a huge snow fort. When we finished it my neighbor and I played tackle football in the snow. Then my family went bowling.
What I did on friday when we had a snow day. Well, I went to Sunburst Ski Hill with Jonah for the day, and taught him how to ski. Then I watched a couple movies in my basement. I also played pingpong with my dad. Then I had a snowball fight with by nextdoor neighbors. Then me and my brother made a snowfort, and had another snowball fight. Later I just hung out at my house and played pingpong and PS2 and beat my Mom in a game of monopoly and then watched some good movies.
First, I woke up at 6:45 and realized that I would miss the bus if I stayed in bed too long! I ran to get all my stuff on when my mom, unexpectedly, told me it was a snow day. I was sssssssssoooooooooooo happy. I went back in bed to sleep or read some more but my brother and my annoying sisters kept me up so I read for a hour or two. Then the workers who were putting in our new wood floor came and we had to go out so we went (to my brother's pleasure) to Ben Z.'s house. I was bored most of the time so I just sat around and finished the book I was reading. I waited and then my mom said that she had to get something from school and home so I went with her and she dropped me off at the library and I found a book to check out. She came back and we went to Ben Z.'s house again. It turned out that Ben and Karl had gone in to play legos. I joined them for a while. Then they desided to go downstairs and play on the computer so I finished my guy and went down. I watched them play for about 15 minutes and then we had to go. Later, we went to the Live Nativity and sang. After that, we ate at Sal's. We went home and I finished the book I was reading. Then I went to bed.
I was in bed and I heard my mom talking on the phone. She said my kids have a snow day So then I knew it was a snow day.So I went downstairs to watch TV! Then my neighbor came over to play.We went sledding,had a snow ball fight,and made cool snow forts. Then my mom had a meeting at school so we went sledding again on the big hill. Then I had some more friends over for a sleepover,and we went to go see the movie the Nativity.It was a good movie. It was the most awesome snow day ever!
