This year in the 2008 Olympics Matt W throw world record throws in the javelin. The experience was amazing. When I walked into the birds nest, the crowd went wild. The feeling of seeing the crowd and hearing them made my heart pound out of my chest. My first throw was o.k. It went 60.6 meters. My next throw was much better. On my second throw, it put me in 3rd place. My last throw was the best. It went 160 meters. The crowd went crazy because that throw broke all records. I came home with gold. Standing on the podium and watching the flag go up was amazing. I almost had a tear!
In the 2008 year Beijing Summer Olympics Stick Boy destroyed the other competitors in the Marathon with a time of 1:56.78 sec. everyone was amazed! So then he tried for the mile run. Again he won gold with a time of 3:33.13! Unbeatable Stick Boy then tried for the 800 meter run. He once again placed first with a time of 1 min. 30 sec.! After that he ran the 400 meter in 35 sec.! “Can he do more?” watchers said. “No, not a chance.” others said. Well, Stick Boy proved them wrong. He ran the 200 meter sprint in 15 sec.! This proved that Stick Boy was a very good runner!
If I were in the 2008 Olympics I would be a basketball player. I would pick #9 for Michael Jordan. Everybody else would be saying, “I want to win the Gold.” I would just be happy to be there.
I would wish for a cool hotel with a nice pool in China. I was so excited and scared when I found out Yau Ming was guarding me in our first game. At the Hotel, I would hang out with Dwayne and Lebron. We would have a great time teasing each other about our season last year. It would be quite an honor to play with these stars.
This summer I got to be apart of the Olympics in Beijing, china. I went to the Olympics to represent U.S.A. in beach volleyball. Beijing is beautiful and the great wall is so big (but then again everything seems big to me.) I was so excited to be in Beijing and see a panda in real life that I had to keep on reminding myself that I was here to compete in volleyball. Finally it was the first match and my partner moo moo8 and I creamed china which means we advance. The second and third matches went well. So we moved on to the finals. I was so excited that I didn’t even care that I was way shorter than my competitors who were Kerri Walsh and Misty May. Obviously they were favored to win, and it sure looked like they were going to do just that when they creamed us in the first game and we barely won the second. But we kept our attitudes positive and made a huge upset for the gold. Everyone in the stands went wild. It was amazing to prove that you can still go home with a gold medal even when you are as short as me!
As they call my name to the start line I was training for the cross country Beijing summer Olympics since I was 1 year old.

now, you might think I am crazy but I have the power to go as fast as a cheetah but I was wrong then out of the blue there was #28 and he stormed right past me and I got so mad that I ran as fast as I could.
But as I could see the starting line #29 got in 1st so, I got in 2nd but I was not mad because in the bible it saied love your neighbor with all your heart.
I’ve been waiting for this day to come my whole life” moomoo8 said to mini sunshine. “I know it’s like a dream come true moomoo. We were walking on the beach to the beach volleyball court. Mini sunshine and I were a beach volleyball team and it was are first Olympics. We were so nervous but at the same time so exited. Are first match would be in an hour. So we started warming up. 1 week later “And the Americans win the game they are moving to the gold metal match” the reporter announced. “We did mini sunshine we did it! I exclaimed with joy were moving to the gold metal match! I couldn’t sleep the whole night was filled with anticipation! I was still in aw. There were so many questions in my mind. Will we win? Will w get creamed? Who are going to play? I really hope it’s not Kerri Walsh and misty may! My voice trembled with fear. It’s impossible to beat them they haven’t lost in over a year. With all that i got tired and finally fell asleep. “Wake up sleepy head its 6:00 “mini sunshine said “what time is it” I said in a tired voice. “ Its 6:00 and we play at 8:00.” I got out of bed as quick as a mini sunshine could blink. It’s been 2 hours and guess who we are playing? Misty May and Kerri Walsh!!!!!!!! It’s impossible to beat them. “Time Out” The coach yelled. We get a break. The game is surprisingly close we won one match and Misty and Kerri won. Who wins this match is the champ. And the score is 10 to 5. And were losing. The match went on another half hour. And i was crying tears of Joy. We Won!!!!!!!! That night we had the award ceremony. And the impossible was now possible.
I got to be apart of the Beijing Olympics 2008. I and the athletic Bryka Peterson competed in the Beach Volley Ball competition. We played many matches and got into the championship Game. We were against or rivals Hungaria were competing against again. We were hoping to be defending Gold Medalists. We were in a rush of excitement and nervousness. We lost the flip of the coin were ready to receive the ball. The serve was hard but me and Bryka manage to get a Bump Set Spike!!! They Blocked it we couldn’t get it. We lost the first match 20-25.We came into the second and blew them away 12-25. It was all counting on the Final match we were tied 24-24 Game point are serve they receive the ball they bump set spike. I had to dig to get the ball Bryka sets and OOOOOhhh I spike in their face. WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never thought I would be in the Beijing Olympics 2008, but here I am!!!!!!! I always loved gymnastics and especially the balancing beam. It’s so much fun; I’ve been winning a lot of metals in the past for my special abilities with balance. The first days of practice were tuff but fun. Then the day came and we did well but we didn’t make any metals that day. Then the second day came and it was so much fun again but we were so close to winning but did not. Then the final championships came we were so excited and we won the gold medal for the USA gymnastics team.
The Olympics were fun because Bush and I got gold in the sand volleyball. In the championship for the gold we faced Spain. We win the 1st match easy 21-14. At the start of the 2nd game we fell behind 2-7 but we caught up to them in the middle of the game. We kept up with them till the score was 19-19. It’s our serve and Bush serves the ball. He tries shallow and the Spanish are deep and cannot get there on time. Its 20-19, I serve, Spain tries to spike it but I dove for it. Bush gets the ball in a perfect spot. I spike the ball over the blocker into the sand for the 21st point. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WINS!!!! The final score is 21-19 USA!!!!
Finally the day has come; my soccer dream is finally here! Here I am taking the U.S.A. women’s soccer team to try to take the gold in the 2008 Beijing Olympics women’s soccer championship! I never thought this day would come, but here’s how it started we were playing against Japan to see who goes to the championship! It was second half and only a minute left and Mia Hamm crossed it and I headed the ball right into the back of the net! The day we’ve all been waiting for the championship against Brazil for the gold! First half it was one – zero Brazil leading! Second half is starting U.S.A scores right away! Game is tied one – one! There are only a few minutes left and Kylee Marks gets a breakaway! She Schools her fist defender and finally she shoots she scores and crowd goes whiled! The U.S.A takes the gold!
It was the big day. The day Mxbluestar and Moe were going for the gold medal in synchronized diving! My stomach was flipping as I walked into the Water Cube. At least I had my partner with me at my side. “Can you believe that we are actually here Moe. I mean here in the Water Cube diving for the gold” Mxbluestar said as they as they began to stretch. “It’s amazing isn’t it.” Moe said. My stomach flipped for about an hour. Than they announced our names. We took our places on the diving board. “123” I mumbled under my breath. In a blink of an eye it was over. It had passed right by. When our scores came up we jumped for joy. We had gotten the gold!!
If I was in the 2008 Summer Olympics, I would definitely want to be in it for basketball. I would choose number nine, Like Michael Jordan. We were expected to break the world record for average points to beat a team by. I would play power forward and shooting guard. Our first game would be against Spain, who we lost to last Olympics. It’s close in the first half, but then we pull away and win by 37. Not enough to get the record, but we still have a long way to go. We easily win our next few games against China, Australia, Korea, and Jamaica. Now we are in the finals and are playing against Greece. They were not supposed to do very good but one player just exploded in points, scoring 50 a game. We play horribly and are losing 54-39 at the end of the first half. We try very hard to make a comeback, but lose by 2 after they make a last second shot. We act nicely to their team, but are mad we didn’t get gold and the record. We go to bed sad, but in the morning, we find out their star player took steroids and so we automatically get gold and win the game by 100, so we smash the record.
I am so excited I finally won after 4 years we finally won the gold. I was so excited to see my parents cheer me on .me and my partner moomoo8 were screaming with joy. I remember hearing the anthem roaring and tears flushing down my cheeks. I could still hear my mom go mooses21 go go go go ! I have hung my gold medal and say everyday god has blessed me. Moomoo8 and me still play and watch are movies of all are other games. I have more gold medals to share with my new family that’s was the greatest day of my life.

Announcer: “Here’s the mighty serve, it’s over and nobody touches it, it’s an ACE!” “ Platypus Lover and Moe win the gold!” Wait their playing it back and Moe serves over the line they were so close I guess they win the silver.” “We will definitely see them back here again!” Well at least we tried said Moe.

I woke up. “Oh boy,” I said to myself, “Today’s the day!” I ran out side and got on my bike and I rode to the Olympics. They were just announcing the 400m hurdles. “Whew!” I exclaimed when I heard that they hadn’t started yet. My trainer said “This is it. It’s all or nothing now!” I gulped. I don’t do well under pressure! Suddenly I heard the starting gun and I started to run. I was in the lead a little bit but Bob and Jack passed me! I caught up to Jack on the 7th hurdle and caught up to Bob on the final hurdle. Then I saw it. A banana peel on the track right where I was supposed to run! If I ran around it I would disqualified! So I took the only choice I had! I jumped. It was a photo finish! The photo showed that the tip of my shoe just beat Bob’s nose and I won the gold!
It has been an amazing 2008 Olympics! What great luck, I happened to be a roommate with Michael Phelps! As you have probably guessed I’m in swimming. Michal Phelps beat me in every race except in one race and that’s because he wasn’t in it. My best races where the butterfly, and the sidestroke. Well, the awards ceremony didn’t go as well as I had hoped for I got the bronze medal in swimming of course. Man o man Michal Phelps looked even taller then he already is, standing on that podium for the gold, well, anyway I had loads of fun and that’s all that matters.
I'm in the olympic gymnastics. me and my best friend Shawn Jhonson are really good. we were practicing before coming to Beijing. we've known each other since preschool. well any way, lets get back to the gymnastics. well me and Shawn have been in gymnastics together since we were 2 years old. Shawn is really good and she had the highest score but some one else scored higher than her! she was really mad. theres this other girl Nastia, but we call her "nasty" for short becuase we dont like her. well im real busy so i have to go! By!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Day one, 8/8/08 Hidden Mickey is stepping up to light the huge torch. You know with a name like Hidden Mickey you deserve to light the huge torch. Also she is an amazing athlete she is competing in swimming, baseball, badminton (as us U.S. folks call it birdie) and ping-pong (table tennis). That is one busy schedule, folks.
In badminton I went to the top scoring a silver medal. The days I competed were August:9,10,11,12,13,14.15,16,17 I won silver on the 17th an am loving badminton. In swimming I competed on August:9,10.11.12,13,14,15,16, On the 16th I had won three gold’s in Backstroke butterfly and breaststroke.
In baseball our team barely grasped third, Joe, one of our best players was out in the 9th inning. He had sprained his wrist diving for the ball. Matt was on third and the bases were loaded. There were 2 outs and I was up to bat it was now or never. HOME RUN!!!!!! We celebrated with bronze medals and cold Root Beer.
In ping pong I got disqualified the ball bounced off the snap on my jacket and went over the net. I can’t believe it went over and I got disqualified!! I guess that is next Olympics 2012.

I somehow got into the Olympic swimming 100 meters freestyle even though I am twelve and I am not that good at swimming. I walked into the water cube and everyone was booing. I thought oh great . Sooner than I could believe we were lining up at the starting line. 3.… 2.……………………………....... But before he could say one go, a space ship zoomed down and abducted the competitors and then zoomed away 1... GO!!!!!!!! I swam and swam and won. The aliens were a big discovery. It was all over the news. A week later the space ship came back and brought back the competitors but they couldn’t remember anything.
I couldn't belive it the olympics actually wanted me to participate in their water polo events! I was scared out of my mind the first time that I had to get into the water and play a game. I wasn't sure how good I would be. Everyone was hesitant to pass the ball to me at first, but once they did the realized that I was a good player. There were only five seconds left of the game and one of my teammates passed the ball over the opposing teams head straight to me. I almost didn't catch the ball, but I just did by the tips of my fingers. After I got the ball I just shot it at the goal as hard as I could. The ball went in and I made the winning point! Everyone was cheering so loud and my family and friends were so proud!
It is officially the start of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Hi, my name is Striker and I am a marathon runner. To qualify I ran the 26 miles in 26 min. and 14 seconds. After all of the other runners had completed their first mile, I was on my tenth mile. I entered the stadium for my 1 and a half remaining laps. When I entered I saw there were only 15 people in the crowd. No one was there because they didn’t think anyone would finish that fast. As soon as I crossed the finish line, my time was so amazing that all 15 people fainted. My time was 22 minutes and 31 seconds. The only bad part to this was that I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes before second and third even entered the building. When I finally got on top of the podium, I was happy and very proud of myself. I remember a close picture of me next to the second and third place finishers. I was calm, relaxed, and it had looked as if I did not move all day while the other two were tired, out of breath, and gasping for air. This was one of the happiest days of my life.
It is the 2008 Olympics and Zack W just broke the world record in the 400 meter run. My heart was pounding, my coach was screaming, and my family was speachless. I just won the gold. Qualifying was easy so I made it in the 4th heat. That heat was harder than qualifying. But not as hard as the semi finals. But the hardest was the finals. It was against 2 Jamacians and 1 Chinese runners. My start did not go well but I caught the Chinese runner and 1 Jamacian. It was going to be hard to catch the other runner. Suddenly he tripped and I flew by him and I finally won the gold.
It is the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. I couldn't believe I was going to be part of it. I was part of the baseball team for the U.S. It was amazing because I hit 5 home runs in one game. The crowd was going crazy. The next games were even better! Besides hitting 3 more home runs, I played the field like a professional. I played 1st base and got the guy out and also an amazing high fly ball. The crowd didn't stop cheering. It got louder and louder. We had won the winning game and took the gold medal. Standing on the pedastal I couldn't believe this was all happening to me.
If I was in the Olympics, I would like to do the “men’s shooting” event, because I enjoy target shooting. I went to the shooting range with my Dad this summer and shot tin cans with a .22 caliber rifle, and didn’t miss a single can! My sister, Lindsay, joined us one day and I did much better than she did, she didn’t even know how to load the gun. I practiced at home too, and kicked my Mom’s butt big time! I enjoy going with my Dad when he goes trap shooting and would like to take that sport up when I am old enough too, which will be soon.

I woke up. “Oh boy,” I said to myself, “Today’s the day!” I ran out side and got on my bike and I rode to the Olympics. They were just announcing the 400m hurdles. “Whew!” I exclaimed when I heard that they hadn’t started yet. My trainer said “This is it. It’s all or nothing now!”
I gulped. I don’t do well under pressure!
Suddenly I heard the starting gun and I started to run. I was in the lead a little bit but Bob and Jack passed me! I caught up to Jack on the 7th hurdle and caught up to Bob on the final hurdle. Then I saw it. A banana peel on the track right where I was supposed to run! If I ran around it I would disqualified! So I took the only choice I had! I jumped. It was a photo finish! The photo showed that the tip of my shoe just beat Bob’s nose and I won the gold!

It has been an amazing 2008 Olympics! What great luck, I happened to be a roommate with Michael Phelps! As you have probably guessed I’m in swimming. Michal Phelps beat me in every race except in one race and that’s because he wasn’t in it. My best races where the butterfly, and the sidestroke. Well, the awards ceremony didn’t go as well as I had hoped for I got the bronze medal in swimming of course. Man o man Michal Phelps looked even taller then he already is, standing on that podium for the gold, well, anyway I had loads of fun and that’s all that matters.
I'm in the olympic gymnastics. me and my best friend Shawn Jhonson are really good. we were practicing before coming to Beijing. we've known each other since preschool. well any way, lets get back to the gymnastics. well me and Shawn have been in gymnastics together since we were 2 years old. Shawn is really good and she had the highest score but some one else scored higher than her! she was really mad. theres this other girl Nastia, but we call her "nasty" for short becuase we dont like her. well im real busy so i have to go! By!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day one, 8/8/08 Hidden Mickey is stepping up to light the huge torch. You know with a name like Hidden Mickey you deserve to light the huge torch. Also she is an amazing athlete she is competing in swimming, baseball, badminton (as us U.S. folks call it birdie) and ping-pong (table tennis). That is one busy schedule, folks.
In badminton I went to the top scoring a silver medal. The days I competed were August:9,10,11,12,13,14.15,16,17 I won silver on the 17th an am loving badminton.
In swimming I competed on August:9,10.11.12,13,14,15,16, On the 16th I had won three gold’s in Backstroke butterfly and breaststroke.
In baseball our team barely grasped third, Joe, one of our best players was out in the 9th inning. He had sprained his wrist diving for the ball. Matt was on third and the bases were loaded. There were 2 outs and I was up to bat it was now or never. HOME RUN!!!!!! We celebrated with bronze medals and cold Root Beer.
In ping pong I got disqualified the ball bounced off the snap on my jacket and went over the net. I can’t believe it went over and I got disqualified!! I guess that is next Olympics 2012.

I somehow got into the Olympic swimming 100 meters freestyle even though I am twelve and I am not that good at swimming. I walked into the water cube and everyone was booing. I thought oh great . Sooner than I could believe we were lining up at the starting line. 3.… 2.……………………………....... But before he could say one go, a space ship zoomed down and abducted the competitors and then zoomed away 1... GO!!!!!!!! I swam and swam and won. The aliens were a big discovery. It was all over the news. A week later the space ship came back and brought back the competitors but they couldn’t remember anything.
I couldn't belive it the olympics actually wanted me to participate in their water polo events! I was scared out of my mind the first time that I had to get into the water and play a game. I wasn't sure how good I would be. Everyone was hesitant to pass the ball to me at first, but once they did the realized that I was a good player. There were only five seconds left of the game and one of my teammates passed the ball over the opposing teams head straight to me. I almost didn't catch the ball, but I just did by the tips of my fingers. After I got the ball I just shot it at the goal as hard as I could. The ball went in and I made the winning point! Everyone was cheering so loud and my family and friends were so proud!
Today is the day.
It is officially the start of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Hi, my name is Striker and I am a marathon runner. To qualify I ran the 26 miles in 26 min. and 14 seconds.
After all of the other runners had completed their first mile, I was on my tenth mile. I entered the stadium for my 1 and a half remaining laps. When I entered I saw there were only 15 people in the crowd. No one was there because they didn’t think anyone would finish that fast. As soon as I crossed the finish line, my time was so amazing that all 15 people fainted. My time was 22 minutes and 31 seconds. The only bad part to this was that I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes before second and third even entered the building.
When I finally got on top of the podium, I was happy and very proud of myself. I remember a close picture of me next to the second and third place finishers. I was calm, relaxed, and it had looked as if I did not move all day while the other two were tired, out of breath, and gasping for air. This was one of the happiest days of my life.
It is the 2008 Olympics and Zack W just broke the world record in the 400 meter run. My heart was pounding, my coach was screaming, and my family was speachless. I just won the gold.
Qualifying was easy so I made it in the 4th heat. That heat was harder than qualifying. But not as hard as the semi finals. But the hardest was the finals. It was against 2 Jamacians and 1 Chinese runners. My start did not go well but I caught the Chinese runner and 1 Jamacian. It was going to be hard to catch the other runner. Suddenly he tripped and I flew by him and I finally won the gold.
It is the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. I couldn't believe I was going to be part of it. I was part of the baseball team for the U.S. It was amazing because I hit 5 home runs in one game. The crowd was going crazy. The next games were even better! Besides hitting 3 more home runs, I played the field like a professional. I played 1st base and got the guy out and also an amazing high fly ball. The crowd didn't stop cheering. It got louder and louder. We had won the winning game and took the gold medal. Standing on the pedastal I couldn't believe this was all happening to me.
If I was in the Olympics, I would like to do the “men’s shooting” event, because I enjoy target shooting. I went to the shooting range with my Dad this summer and shot tin cans with a .22 caliber rifle, and didn’t miss a single can! My sister, Lindsay, joined us one day and I did much better than she did, she didn’t even know how to load the gun. I practiced at home too, and kicked my Mom’s butt big time! I enjoy going with my Dad when he goes trap shooting and would like to take that sport up when I am old enough too, which will be soon.
