Use Your Talents Well
In my room (and Mr. Everts'), there is a poster that says:
God gave you talents as a gift;
Praise God by using your talents well.
First, tell what talents you believe God gave you. Then, talk about how you could use your talents well. What would you need to do to use your talents well?

Make a Difference
You can make a huge difference in your surroundings if you are willing to work hard to make a change. Pick something that you would like to change at school and write a persuasive letter to whoever is in charge and tell the person the change you think should be made. Be positive and give suggestions for how the change could happen. Remember, this is not a chance to bash someone or something, but instead a chance to lobby for a change.
Examples of topics could include: students shouldn't have homework, more recess time, let students pick the classes they take instead of having to take all of the subjects, longer passing time between classes, etc....

Reincarnation
In Social Studies, we have been talking about other world religions (Buddhism and Hinduism). Since they believe in reincarnation (and we obviously do not), I want you to put yourselves in their shoes. If you were to be reincarnated tomorrow, what would you come back as? You could be a human, animal, or a plant. You could be from the United States, Germany, Honduras, China, Russia, Kenya, or wherever you want. You could be of any nationality you choose. Just pick something to come back as and tell us why.
