Comfort

As the weather becomes cooler and the air is crisp, I enjoy the cozy, comfortable things in life. I start making more soups, wearing my favorite worn-in sweatshirts, and snuggling in under my down comforter at home. All of these things make me feel warm and comfortable. In your entry this week, talk about and describe the things that make you feel comfortable. Maybe there is a certain room in your house or a certain place that makes you feel comfortable. Perhaps you have a stuffed animal from your childhood that used to (or still does) comfort you. It could even be a person with whom you feel very safe and comfortable. No matter what or who it is, describe what it is that makes you feel safe and comfortable.

I love it when we put away all of the summer clothes and bring out the fall bins. I get to see all my sweaters and uggs. I love when I go outside and smell the crisp air and how its not too warm but not to cold. I also love this time of year because fall is my favorite season.

What makes me comfortable when it comes time to winter is my favorite stuffed animal, which is a huge dog, (Its name is Prince) that my aunt gave me one Christmas. I love to cuddle with it in my bed. He makes me feel all warm inside. Another thing that makes me comfortable is baking. I don’t know why, but I just love it. I like to bake cupcakes, cookies you name it and I’ll probably know how to make it. (If you are reading this, here is a simple peanut butter cookie recipe. One cup sugar, one cup peanut butter, and one egg put in oven for 12 min.)

One of the things that makes me comfortable is just knowing that my family loves me. Just knowing that makes me very happy because I know that they will take care of me. Another thing that makes me comfy is that God created me and he loves me. That alone makes me fell good in my heart. Also he protects by giving me a guardian angel that watches over me. I think it is truly a miracle that he can watch over everybody at the same time and love them all equally. These are two of the many things that make comfy.

What really makes me feel worm and comfy is when I put on long underwear and my thick hunting socks. They are very warm. I also get my deer blanket which is a blanket that has deer on it and it is very warm. I also get my two other blankets and my pillow. Then I go and lie down on the couch and turn on a good movie. Another thing that makes me feel warm is when I am out hunting and I come in for the night and I am going to sleep in our van I turn on the heater and crawl under my eight blankets (that’s right eight) and go to sleep.

What makes me warm during these cold nights is a very warm cuddly blanket. He used to not have a name but now he does. On one Christmas I opened a package that read TO: Addy FROM: The cats (I’m no expert but I don’t think the cats picked it out and paid for him). I unwrapped the package and inside there was a nice big warm cuddly blanket. He is so cuddly and warm I don’t need a comforter.
EIGHT MONTHS LATER

I was snuggled up in S.D. under my blanket cuddling my mom. Mom snatched him away playfully and I wanted him back. So I said “Give me back my ...” (mom gave him back) “OOH THANKS!” Now he had a name and at first is seemed funny saying Ooh Thanks. But I got used to it. I love my ooh thanks and I would never give him away. He and Jesus share the same birthday and they both provide me comfort.

The thing that comforts me in the winter is big blue comforter blanket. I really like this blanket because it is thick, soft and warm. Plus, it is old and has all my favorite smells in it. It smells l like my house and that clams me down when I am upset. I also can wrap myself in it and it makes me so warm. Sometimes it is to warm. This is the only blanket I use in my house. Nobody else can use it because they will change the smell of it. When we go on long road trips, I will bring it along for the car ride. I will never give up my big blue blanket.

What makes me comfortable and cozy is when I get my real warm pajamas on and get into my bed. Then I take the blanket - I was born with this one I love it because it is fuzzy and soft - also the four other monkeys on my bed -I love them all. I had my blankly since I was a baby and its pink. I love sleeping with it. I prefer to sleep with it. My other four special monkeys are on my bed too and one of them is the one I got in Tennessee during Spring Break. I loved him ever since I got him and the other two are from a store and one from a friend. I love stuffed monkeys so much and my Blankley. That’s what keeps me comfortable.

I feel most comfortable and cozy when Winter time comes. It cold outside and we usually have our fireplace lit. I love to sit in front of the fire with my favorite lion blanket. I also have a cozy chair which I always sit in during Winter. It becomes really cozy when my cat Spot snuggles in with me. His body is warm and helps to warm my lap. Then a few minutes later the other kitties come and lay with me too. It is relaxing and cozy. A good movie also helps to bring the comfort on. Some hot chocolate with marshmallows is also very soothing on a cold winters night. The End

I have a number of things that make me comforable in life.To start, my mom, who I feel safe around and with because she is always there for me and her unconditional love is always there too.Hot chocolate is about the best beverage you could warm up to.It is hot chocolatey goodness.I have a stuffed animal named Moosey (I know real orginal)that I cuddle with even to this day.It brings me comfort because my mom gave it to me after she went on a trip.I have a big fuzzy, warm, purple bathrobe with stars and moons that I put on when I am cold along with my warm fuzzy socks.Winter? Please bring it on.

I don’t really have any clothes that I wear that make me comfy, but I like to sit on our leather couch, by myself, with a sleeping bag and hot chocolate and watch the Packs play. I also love it when it is cold to come inside and see warm hot chocolate with marshmallows floating around in it. Something that will always make me comfy though is knowing that at least 10 people love me. God, my mom my dad, and my brothers and sisters. That is stuff that always makes me feel really comfy and cozy when it’s cold.

The one thing that makes me comfortable is my stuffed animals they always listen to me and they keep me warm one cold or chilly nights.

The second ting is my dog named Kappi I had her since I can remember and yes she is a mutt but also a loving sister and also she is my pet and sometimes we take her for walks and she once barked at a skate board then she relaxed after that.
The 3rd thing is my parents they love me more because I am there kid and the help me with home work.

What warms me up is a cup of soup and sitting at my cabin by the wood-burning stove. My Dog Cody usually sleeps by my feet so that makes my feet warm. And running a lot. In deer season I wear long underwear then a t-shirt then a sweatshirt then another sweatshirt then my snow pants then my one and a half inch coat because sitting out there outside for 7 hours in 20 to 5 degrees below is going to get cold. I heat a lot of meat in the winter. I also stay In the basement because that’s were its warmest. That’s what I do to keep warm.

Things that comfort me the most are my pets. Being around my black cat Sophie makes me really calm because my favorite season is fall and that’s when you hear and see a lot about them. My dog Sasha is the only pet in our house that doesn’t get in they way of things. Also when I play outside in the snow she is so energetic that she runs around supper fast! Sasha is also really soft so it’s fun to cuddle with her! My newer kitten Poe is the sweetest thing you ever saw. He curls right beneath my chin when I read a book which also comforts me. Last but not least, the big guy, Gaston. Gaston is our HUGE Mastiff. For those of you who have never seen a Mastiff they are as big as a Grate Dane and as round as a Saint Bernard. He thinks he’s a lap dog so he wants to climb right up on the couch with you! When I’m away on vacation I really miss them a lot but when I come home I’m so comforted. That’s why my pet’s are so comforting!!!!

I feel safe because I live in a house out of cold weather. The room I feel safe in is the front room. That is where we spend time watching TV and reading books. It is where we fold our cloths and put them on a couch to be picked up and put away. it is also where we have our computer with a coping machine and piano. Believe it or not we have a model 1966 ‘Redeye’ which is a sowing machine. We have a fire place in the corner of the room to heat up the house in winter.

The things that make me comfortable are wearing a sweatshirt and snuggling under a blanket by the warming fireplace, maybe even with my back leaning against my mom and watching a movie. Sometimes I just want to put 3 covers on my bed, get nice and comfortable, and talk to my mom. All these times I’m not only comfortable, I also feel protected, because my mom is there. Another good comfortable time is when I’m under a blanket sitting by a fire drinking hot chocolate. Also, I like having my cousins Nick, Michael, and my Uncle Mike with me. We sit under blankets in front of the TV and play. Sometimes, we have a 4 way Mario Kart: Double Dash race! These are a bunch of things that make me feel warm and comfortable. Now I want some hot chocolate. I got to go get some. Bye!

I love seeing my dog Sofie see her first fall l eaves. When I bring out my favorite sweaters and baking my famous Halloween brownies . I love seeing family and playing trivial pursuit. I sit and drink hot cocoa. Sleeping with my thick blanket and sleeping. I see leaves falling the grass disappeared and goose bumps from the thin cold air against my skin. Playing football is fun but I get cold quick. Sometimes making soup makes me jittery with delight. Most people say “I hate atum” but it’s the time that families can get together. I love it.

The thing that comforts me the most is my dog. Whenever I am sad Rocky (my dog) comes and sits by me and licks me. When ever I am mad he comes and cheers me up. Whenever I am happy he comes and celebrates with me, and whenever I am bored he comes and drops a ball at my feet. He never makes fun of me or puts me down. Well that’s because he’s a dog. When I am stressed out he comes and comforts me too. I always fell safe around him. (Even though he’s 20 pounds). He’s a great dog!

What makes me comfy is just being at home. I especially like being at home in the winter because I like coming in from shoveling snow and being cold then to lay on the couch worming up with a piping mug of hot chocolate and whipped cream. Some other things that make me comfy are walking down the street in a new pair of shoes, jumping into a warm bed with flannel sheets, watching a good movie, on the hottest day of the summer drinking a cold glass of lemonade. And last but not least, reading a really good book.

What makes me comfortable is going into the living room haveing a fire and drimking some hot chocalate. Just relaxing and watching T.V. It's so relaxing to just lay down on the couch and watch T.V. with a fire that keeps you nice and warm. I also like to sit down at the dinner table and have a nice family dinner. It's so relaxing to come home from cold soccer practice and sit down and have dinner. I especially like it when we have mash potato for dinner. There's nothing better than coming home to that!

What makes me comfy is my pet snake. She feels like silk and I love the way it fells when she gently squeezes my hand. My little pink stuffed bunny. I named her when I was two so she has a silly name its Fofa and yes my user name is inspired by her. My rats. There soooo cute! There cuddly and they lick my tears away when I cry. Going to church it makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Cookie dough, potato chips and hot chocolate taste so so so so so good. Being with my best friends. My pjs. There so soft. My mom my dad. Some other things are hot tubs, chocolate and pizza. The leaves pretty colors and the crunching sound they make when you step on them. I like to cook that makes me feel comfy to and the rocking chair. Those are the things that make me comfy.

What comforts me is when I finally get to go to lay in my warm bed when I go to sleep.
I also find it really comforting to turn on my radio and listen to music when I am going to sleep. Another thing that comforts me is in summer when it is really hot out I like sitting in the cool air conditioning and watching a good movie or show. Another thing that makes me comfy is when I get in from shoveling snow and I come in and take a really warm shower. Then when I get out I get my warm pajamas on and cover up with warm blankets and watch T.V. or go just to sleep.

My favorite place to be is my club house it is a little small, but really cozy. I’m warm I’m comfy in my sleeping bag witch is on a very soft bed and also entertained watching TV. I play my wii and I play on my computer. I eat snacks like popcorn, potato chips, gold fish, soup, pooding, est. feel safe, alone, warm, cozy, and last but not least entertained. So I enjoy my club house very much it is all those things to me that is why it is soooo cozy to me and dad, sister, and last my mom.

I am warm and cozy in my electric blanket that my mom bought me last year. The blanket is the best on cold or rainy nights. It is great to be under a warm blanket and if I get too hot I can turn it down a notch or two. I also enjoy sitting around a bonfire with my family and friends. The fire keeps you warm and we have a lot of fun. We roast marshmallows and hotdogs. A mug of hot chocolate with little marshmallows is a great way to stay cozy on a cold day or night. I also have a big dog named Avie and if you sit or sleep next to him I don't even need me electric blanket.
