President-elect Barak Obama will officially be sworn into office this Tuesday and with any new president comes much hoopla, called inauguration. There will be balls, live music, dancing, food, other parties, speeches, and more. This year, inauguration will cost over 150 million dollars. Wow!
Pretend that you were the one elected to be our country's next president. If you could plan your inauguration, what would it be like? Some questions to consider are: Where would you host it? What musicians would be there? What type of food would you have (any company from McDonald's to Red Lobster to the most expensive catering company could cater it)? What would you wear? What would your speech be about? Would there be any fun decorations, giveaways, fireworks, etc....?

I would be very pleased to be inagurated and would love to see all the great performers and food. But most of all i would love to give my speech about America. Seeing all my friends family and fans. I could almost everyone screaming my name. People would love to hear my speech, four score and 7 years ago...{just kidding}. I would love to help our country to stop global warming to make earth "green" and help stop the war. Talking and to fans and asking for their advice. I would have my family stand beside me the whole way to guide me.
I would host my inauguration in my back yard( don’t ask me why). The beetles and the back street boys would be there. For food I would have McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Burger King. I would where the suit that I wore for my book report because I need to look nice. My speech would be about letting kids out of school early. School wouldn’t start until 10:00 so we can sleep in. From 10:00 to 11:00 we would have gym and then from 11:00 to 12:00 would have recess. From 12:00 until 12:30 we would have lunch and end the day with 1 hour of recess. We would end the day at 1:30 and we would only have 3 and a half hours of school. That would make school a whole lot easier.

If I where president I would host the inauguration at First Immanuel Lutheran School in the gym. The school band would play and Red Lobster would feed us. I would wear a white t-shirt and blue jeans. My speech would be about feeding all the poor and hungry people around the world. The fun thing would be to knock down the president in the water dunk tank.
And also the little kids would have a chance to win new bibles for there classrooms.
And to top it all off a basket ball game and fire works. That’s all folks.
My inauguration would be a great big party. I would have it in Hawaii because it is warm and a fun place to go. The weather would be warm so we could have it on the ocean. The food would be catered by Buffalo Wild Wings. I would have the hottest wings possible. At the end of the night, I would have a huge fireworks display. It would last 1 hour long. The grand finally would be so loud that the earth would shake. People in Hawaii would think it was an earthquake. Everyone would be invited to have some fun.
If I was inaugurated as president, I would rent out Disney World and have it there. I would make all the rides free and I would ride them all before I talk. After I was done barfing I would say my speech. After that we would eat from the choices of the Chancery, Taco Bell, and Noodles. Then when I am done barfing from all the food I ate I would introduce some singers. Then there would be a huge firework display. After that I would go back to my hotel, watch some T.V., and go to bed and sloop for 12 hours.

If I became the president of the U.S.A. I would have my inauguration in Washington D.C. right in front of the Whitehouse. I would have the Civic band of Cedarburg, WI, play all my favorite songs. I would have McDonalds, and Subway food to serve to the people. I probably would wear something nice, like a tux. Then I would give out my speech. It would be about how I were going to make our country better, like trying to put more solar powered cars in the U.S.A. To encourage this speech I would give a free solar panel to everyone. Then I would have big fireworks blow up in the sky to celebrate my inauguration.
I would have my inauguration at the Dallas Cowboy stadium and I would give my speech right in the middle of the field (right on the star (50 yard line). One performance that there would have to be is the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and that day the cowboys would play a football game so that would be the entertainment. The food would be hamburgers, cheeseburgers, brauts, and hotdogs. Well of coarse I would wear a Tony Romo jersey. My speech would be talking about if the Cowboys have a chance to make it to the Super Bowl that year. If the Cowboys won the game there would lots of fireworks. Now that’s what I call an inauguration!
It would be an absolute honor to become President and be inaugurated. First for the meal, I would the best BBQ ribs that were ever made ( anybody who thinks of having sea food would be thrown out.). I would host it in Cedarburg WI. so all my friends and family could come. The music would be all the famous stars I could think of so there would be music that everyone could enjoy. I would wear a stunning blue dress that was all sparkly, silver heeled sandals and the biggest rose for my hair. My speech would be about how I was going to help America and how grateful I was on being elected. Last but not least, there would be a huge show of fireworks and in the goodie bags would be and brand new ipod for everyone!!! Go President Cielak! ya
If I was elected for president and going to be inaugurated I would probably like to host the Inauguration in Hawaii. Why well, I would like to see beautiful sights, and more! I would have Jordin Sparks come, and also have casting crowns also come play music and sing. I would probably have all kinds of food, but most of the food would be from Texas Road House. (Since I love their food!) I would probably wear something very nice such as a very pretty dress. My speech would probably be about how God has sent me in this position for a reason, and that is to support this country. There would be fireworks and also a free scuba diving lesson for when people are in Hawaii.
If I had an inauguration I would make it like a huge party! People from McDonalds, Red Lobster, Old Country Buffet, Culvers, Dairy Queen, and KFC passing out food from there restaurants! I would wear a sweat shirt and jeans (I do not like to dress up!) I would talk into the microphone and say a long boring speech. Then we would PARTY! We would have TVs everywhere, video games to play, computers to play on, board games to play, and tables to eat the food. I would invite all my friends and relatives to this party and they would get in free. Everyone else would have to pay $5.00 for them to get in. This would all take place in my backyard because it is big. (Probably not big enough to put all the things in it but that’s beside the point.)

If I were inaugurated president of the US, I would have it at pizza hut. For food I would have pizza and breadsticks and of course root beer. For music /entertainment I would have Van Halen be there. I would wear nice cloths, but not too nice. My speech would be about making school shorter. It would start at 12:00 and end at 3:00. 1st hour would be recess then 2nd hour gym then 3rd hour lunch. Before the whole thing started I would have bought all the fireworks at Black cat. Then at the inauguration I would light them all off.
My inauguration would spend less money than most inaugurations. I would host it at the Washington memorial. I would make sure there is pizza, noodles, hotdogs, and other things people would like. The ground the people stand on will be spray painted like the American flag I will wear a nice suit with a nice tie. My speech will be about how the United States of America is lucky to be among very few free countries and that some people still don’t know it. I will thank them all for coming and enjoy the rest of the day then fireworks will go off. There would even be a raffle sale for something nice. There will be pin the face on the president as a game.
If I was the next president of the United States my Inauguration would be on stage of the Grand Old Opry in Nashville, TN the home of country music. I would have Taylor Swift perform and Carrie Underwood, Chuck Wicks and so many more. The food would be catering from the Mineshaft. My speech would in middle of the Grand Old Opry and talk about the great country singers. Put up steamers and for the Grand finale I would have fire works. The give way would be to stay at the Gaylord hotel in Nashville for free that is very expensive. That’s my Inauguration.
If I were Inagurated to be the presedent of the united states I would have the speach at Miller Park, and give my speach in the middle of the field.I would invite my whole family. For food there would be brauts burgers hotdogs beer soda and all kinds of food and bevrages. Then there would be all kinds of musical preformanses like Nicklel back Matalicka acdc distured and all kinds of musical guests.And for the grand finale I would have hundrds and hunreds of steamers and fireworks to celebrate my Inaguration.I would also rent out hotels for all the guests to stay until they go home.
This is what I would do if I ever got the chance to be inaugurated as president of the United States of America. First I would start by picking a fabulous location, like Hollywood, California! It would be nice and warm and it has been a dream of mine to go to Hollywood. Next, food! I would have Mamma Mia’s pizzeria cater the event because that is my absolute FAVIORITE restaurant ever! And of course I can’t forget a spectacular dress. I would wear a flowing taffeta gown with flowered beading at the top and the bottom would be made of tulle that gracefully flows to the ground. My dress would be red so it’s patriotic and it would go with a really cute pair of white open- toed heals made of a satin- like material. My hair would be professionally done into a gorgeous up-do. At the event there would be red white and blue fireworks that spell out U.S.A. and all of the tables would have supper fancy flower center pieces. So that’s what I would do if I had the pleasure of being inaugurated as the president of the United States.
My inauguration would by at a beach in Florida at sun set. All the food would be seafood from Midori that’s my favorite restaurant. I would wear my red striped shirt and blue jeans. Every one could play in the water. There would be games like racing in the water diving for stuff that they could keep if the found. There would be a DJ playing Bob Marley music. There would be drinks in coconuts with tiny umbrellas in them. There would be tiki lights, fire eaters and hula dancers. There would be lots of life guards to make sure every one stayed save.
If I was elected president of the United States I would plan my inauguration at the old Yankee Stadium. We would eat steak, hamburgers, brats, and corn on the cob. We would have soda, fruit punch, and water to drink. My choice of entertainment would be a baseball game between the Yankees and the Phillies. After the game there would be a firework display exploding in the sky. It would go down in history for how much noise and color the fireworks made. After the fireworks, we would go dancing. There would be a DJ playing music and everyone would be having a good time late into the night.
My inauguration would be so fun. I would have it at Disney world I would rent it out you would not have to dress up. I would have Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Dominoes, Dairy Queen, and Subway cater there. There would be a huge firework display it would be colorful, bright, and loud. I would do my speech after everyone and I had lots and lots of fun. My speech would be how I would change things, how I would take care of the USA, and how I would help and support our country and make it and the Economy better.
If I became president of the united states I would have the biggest party in the whole world.I would get a bunch of designer clothes so I would look fashonable.I would invite all of my friends and family.I would have the Cheesecake Factory and other nice resteraunts cater my party. I would have all kinds of singers and dancers come and perform. Some would be Akon, Jonas Brothers, Leona Lewis, and alot of other famous artists.I would have alot of sodas and other really great foods. And I would have my inauguration in hollywood.
During my parade I would have Secret Service men all around me. For food I would have Super Bowl Sunday food which includes chili, steak, mozzarella sticks, nachos, tacos, burritos, hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, and pizza. For desserts there would be ice cream Sundays, cake, milk shakes, and brownies. For drinks I would have soda, beer (21 and up), and water. During the party after I am sworn in there would lots and lots of fireworks. And I would get to light off the first one. Once I got moved into the White House I would have tons of parties. Almost every other night there would be a party at my house.
If I was inaugurated presedent I would give my speech then have my party in the Florida keyes. New York. I would have a bunch of bands there like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Texas roadhouse would do my catorers. I would wear a $700 tux. I would hire acrobats and all of the 2008 Beijing Olimpic participents. Then I would talk about no more war. I would have trampolines. Then have fireworks. The in a week throw a superbowl party in Times Square New York on the big screen T.V. And that’s what I would have my inaugeration like.
If I were inaugurated President, I would make it so taxes won't be so much. I would put gas down to $1.30, so it won't be so high. I would put car washes down to 4 bucks. I would sell new cars for 16 thousand dollars. I would make everyone's life better and make everyone richer. I will make sure our army is strong and healthy and let them visit their homes once or twice every year. If I do those things, then we will have the best country ever.

If I was elected the president of the U.S. my inauguration would be like this. I would host it in the little town of Cedarburg. I would wear a black suit with a lime green tie. I would have vegetables and dip, steak and potatoes and a hug cake. I would have Alan Jackson and Taylor Swift be the entertainment. There would be at least over 5,000 people there. I would try to keep the cost down because of the ecomony. My speach would be mainly on how we could make the world different.
if i was president, my inauguration would have aton of parties. first we would have it in LA California. i would invite all my friends and family first and than all my favorite stars. i would have all the best food around and a ton of cake! there would be a dj and he would play all the hottest new songs! every body could just handg out and be themselves. they could dance and stuff. you couldnt come in street cloths, you have to were designer clothes that are realy expensive. i would also invite the preaviouse president to show honor. i would also throw a seprate party for the person who was running against me in honor of him/her.
