Pride

You all have some amazing talents and gifts that God generously gave to you. Most of you have used those talents and gifts to do some incredible things. Write about the proudest moment you have had in your 11 or 12 years of life. Explain all of the details of that experience, why it made you proud, and exactly how you felt. Remember, this is not bragging because I am asking you to share, so be honest.

(Examples: Getting an A+ on a Science test that you studied really hard for, winning some sporting event, getting a compliment from someone you admired)

One of my moments when felt I had really used my talents was probably yesterday when I found out I had qualified for state in the Kettle Moraine meet. This was the first time I have ever qualified so I was really happy. To qualify for a 5th & 6th grader you have to get in the top 40% of the 7th and 8th grade race. Jonathan and I
both qualified. To qualify as a 7th & 8th grader you have to get 1st-17th. Noah smith did this. I can’t wait to go. I’m so excited about going to it. This is one of the times I feel I have used the talents God gave me.

One of my proudest moments came last week. First, I got all A's on my mid-quarter report card. I've worked really hard and studied alot for the tests. I hope I can keep this up so I can make the honor roll. It would be the first time ever. I have never got all A's before and was very happy. My Mom and Dad were really proud of me. Doing this will keep me in sports. Then, yesterday I played Joey in football. The Colt's vs the Gladiator's. We tied, 14-14. I was lucky enough to go up against Joey, it was really fun. On kick off I forced a fumble with Tyler. These were two of my proudest moments.

My most proud moment was time where I got the MVP award at the St.Francis Cabrini tournament for volleyball. Just as the game ended the ref gave Mrs. Jackson the certificate then Mrs. Jackson called my name I was so happy. It made me proud because then I knew that I was one of the best players on the team. I wish that could happen this year but we got eliminated too early we got 5th place this time at the tournament. Well I hope you enjoyed my blog got to go bye

One of my most proudest moments was probably when I got a Superior (the best grade) for the piano competition. I was so proud of myself. If I get a Superior this year I get a gold cup. I have gotten superiors two years in a row. I work really hard to play these songs for the competition. We have to have a choice and required piece for the competition. Required piece is sheet music from a small book with pieces you can order only for competition. Choice piece is a piece of music from your book that is a original that you get to choose. It made me proud because I try really hard to get a Superior. We work on these pieces for about 2-3 months plus they have to be memorized. I felt a great feeling inside when my piano teaching told me I got a superior. For competition you go in a small room with a judge and an assistant, most people get nervous. You hand your music to the judge and then you play. After you play you get your music and leave. About a week later you get your results. This is one of my most proudest moments.

I know that as soon as I post this blog that I will think of a better idea. So I will just tell you the most recent moment I can think of. I think the proudest moment would be starting in the championship volleyball game at our tournament. To me, it meant that all the hard work at practice paid off and the coach was noticing. I was really nervous when she put me in because I just kept thinking, “What if I make the game- losing mistake?” It turned out I did make the game-losing mistake. But the whole team tried there hardest so it wasn’t so bad. During the game everybody has their great moment and then the team goes over to give them a high five. Like I said, I’ll probably think of a different idea later but for now this will have to do.

I was really happy when I was in elementary school the lowest grade I got was a B plus. I was also really happy when I got an MVP at the volleyball tournament in last year’s season. I was very happy when my little brother was born. I was very excited when I got to start doing all my sports like poms, volleyball, and basketball. I was excited because I love playing all of these sports. I was also very excited when I made CBC which is club basketball. These are some of the exciting things that my life In remember.

One of my proudest moments was when I won the MVP Trophy Award for the FIL Volleyball Tournament. I was talking with my friends when all of a sudden, Jeff called my name and I didn't know why. I wasn't really listening, so I just walked up and took my trophy. I read the label on it and I didn't know why I got it. Then my dad finally told me why I got the trophy. It felt good to play alot in that tournament because we got 2nd place and were SO close to winning the Championship. I was proud of my award, but then my dad dropped my trophy in the parking lot and it broke. I was really sad, but my dad ordered me a new trophy and we placed it in my room. So, this is one of my proudest moments.

one of my proudest moments was this past weekend when my mom and i went on a mother daughter retreat together. my mom and i really bonded. i got to do lots of things like horse back riding, rockclimbing, going to a leather shop and making crafts, hanging out with my mom and friends, having your picture taken by a professionial photographer, shopping, and playing basketball, volleyball, and tetherball. we had worship services and sermons every day i think that helped me to grow in my faith a lot. i also made lots of new friends!! i got to hold a farret, ball python, and a chinchilla!! we got to go on a nice relaxing hayride at 8:00 on saturday night. i really liked the experience i had with my mom! i am very proud of myself!!

I couldn’t really think of my proudest moment in my life time so I will just go with when my team won 1st place in a fathers day baseball tournament. To qualify for seeds (that is when you play teams before the real tournament part and see how good your team is so they can set up the bracket right) we did really bad and got seeded last. Our first game we beat one of the West Bend teams, who we didn’t play when we were qualifying for seeding. The next team we played was another West Bend team who we lost to while we were qualifying. Our team played really well and beat them. The next game was the championship game. We would play Mequon, who we lost to earlier in the season in the Port Washington tournament. Our team came out really confident and we won the tournament. That is my proudest moment.

HI MISS MILLER,
MY PROUDEST MOMENT WAS WHEN I MADE IT INTO THE WAVE INVATATION CAMP. I WAS IN AWE OF THE LETTER THAT TOLD ME THAT I HAD BEEN INVITED. THE LETTER SAID IN BOLD LETTERS "INVATAION ONLY WAVE PROGRAM." IT ALSO HAD RESONINGS WHY I SHOULD COME AND TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE A CHANCE TO WORK WITH THE ODP (OLYMPIC DEVOPMENT PROGRAM). I FELT SO PROUD BECAUSE I KNEW THAT I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF. I GUESS IT MADE ME SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL TO THE LORD. BEFOER THAT WAVE CAMP I HAD ONLY PLAYED FOR THE SCHOOL TEAM FOR TWO YEARS. THEY SAID THAT I HAD ALOT OF TALLENT. THEY SAID THAT I SHOULD BE PUT ON THE SELECT TEAM, WICH MENT A LOT TO ME.

Heres a good one for you!ALL MY SIBLINGS BEING BORN!I remember that when I was 7 or 8 and Abby was born I had a T-shirt that said I'M THE BIG SISTER.I think we still have it!Another moment is when I was at a CUW womens basket ball game.My 2nd cousin was head coach and she had a big surprise waiting for me!I sat down in the stands with my grandpa,[Warren B. Twietmeyer, lately retired Head of the Board of Regions,or something like that.],and waited for the game to start. All of a sudden, the captain of the team came and gave me a mini basketball with the Falcons logo on it,signed by all the players.I couldn't stop smiling!!!After the game,[They won,of course!!]I got to go in to the ladies locker room and talk to all the players!!IT WAS AWESOME!!!One other cool moment that happened at Concordia was at family day for the football players. My dad had to make a speech for the new stadium so he thought it would be fun for us kids to hang out there.[I practically have blue and white blood flowing throuh my veins!!!]So Abby,Emma,Hannah and I ran around on the really NEW football field. When we came off the field my friend,Stacey Brunner, was there.Stacey is the 20 something year old head coach of the girls basketball team. They were really good last year with a record of alot of wins and only like 2 losses.[That isn't exactly exact, but really close]So Stacey asked me when my basketball team started playing and I told her late October, early November. And guess what, she asked for a schedule of my games SO SHE COULD COME TO THEM!!!!!!I was so excited!!!!But in return I wanna go to one of the CUW girls games so I can cheer for Stacey Brunner, her team, and of course Christina Wingfield.one of the best guards on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[And no i'am not obsessed w/ CUW.I just like them alot.CUW RULES CUW RULES CUW RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi Miss Miller,
My most favorite moment was last year (I was still 11 at the time so don't worry.) I was in a basketball tournament. In are last game I scored 18 points! Which was my highest scoring in a game. I scored eleven points in the seventh quarter! We one that game by a free throw made by Nathen which is not here right now to tell the story, good shot NATHEN! After that we got a game ball for participating in the tournament. When we came out of the locker we gave Mr.G the game ball that was signed by the whole team, for coming to all the games for First Immanuel 5th grade boys and girls. My best moment ever so for. SEE YOU LATER MISS.MILLER

One of my most proud moments that I can think of is this summer in my little league baseball team. I did pretty well in most games. I usually got an out. I was playing 2nd base for a lot of the season. I have a couple moments, in the season where I was pretty happy.
One game I got to play first for an inning and had an out or two, the next game I had a double play and a couple good hits. Another game the field was really messed up since it had rained the past few days, and after the first couple of innings we were kind of mad because the pitchers on the other team were terrible (no offence to them) and there coach was the umpire since the umpire didn’t show up and was calling have the pitches a strike when there were way or too high. So we were getting no hits except I had 2 hits and another guy on my team got a hit. We still lost but I probably did the best for my team that game. I also noticed I got a lot better at batting since last year. This may not seem that great but as some of you probably have noticed I like baseball but I’m not an amazing player or anything. I also liked seeing some of my friends a couple of the people were Collin, Tyler, Justin, Jack (I think), and Nick wasn’t there we played his team I think. Even though we didn’t do that great that season I still had fun, made a couple new friends.
P.S. just checked and this blog was 304 wordsincluding this sentence so sorry Miss Miller (hehe isn’t it funny that when I’m talking about my self my blog is really long).

My proudest moment was when I made it to the state meet for cross-country with Ben. I didn't find out until Thursday, but I knew I did good at the Kettle Moraine meet. I got 11th place and Ben got 7th place. The course was a little hilly which was tiring. It was muddy but not as muddy as last year. I was hoping I would make it to state this year and I did it. I can't wait to run on Friday because it will be really fun.
I am very nervous and I hope I do good. I hope this trail is not very hard. I think it is only a mile and a half. This is one of my best moments in my life.

Hi Miss Miller,
The coolest thing was when I meet Storman Gorman or Gorman Tomas.I meet him in a hot dog stand with Zach Aussprung. He signed a napkin but I think I lost it in the stadium when we were going back to the car, that wasn't one of my best days but it was still fun at the stadium because I got a home run ball.I also got a jersey from the baseball store from my dad.

My best and proudest moment was when I won the wildcat spirit award. The award is for the player who has the best adattude and best team spirit. The camp was still fun even though our team lost. After my dad and my family said good job to me. It broke and we had to glue it back together. Another moment was when I almost caught the catfish in our pond. It almost pulled me in. I almost had it but it got away because I forgot to set the line. When I played an amazing basketball game. I got hurt though but I stole the ball from an 8th grader. We lost buy 2 points.

I think the moment that gave me the most pride was when I learned I could lease a horse! It was a cold December morning and my mom and I were cleaning my room. Suddenly a pile of "junk" fell off my desk and my mom started sorting through it. Suddenly she fell upon a pile of my pictures from horse camp. When she asked me which horses were which I said the first one was Banner(now in heaven with Lollipop :() and the second one was Copper. Then she told me that we could lease him and I got sooo jumpy!!! Copper is one of the most awesomest(my new word)horses on the planet!!!!! Then on January 17th we went by him and Allie(his owner) and rode. After that we decided to lease him. The first month we started leasing him was February. We started going out by him and soon I was comfortable riding english(western saddle is about 2 times the size!) the proudest moment I had on him was when i finally felt comfortable cantering!!! That was an awesome moment! I have had some great expirences with copper and plan to havw many more!

Another cool moment was when I was at the brewer game and won a game worn jersey!!! That was awesome!!! I was sitting in the seat when they called the seat!!! It was soooo lucky because we just got back from getting dippin dots like 2 seconds before!!! The we realized that it was our chair and my mom got all excited!!! That was sooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!! We want to get it signed by him when we have a chance to... wouldn't that be cool??? My mom wants to wash the jersey too but I say not to it would wash off the game worn part of the game worn jersey... it would just be a jersey but now its a stained game worn jersey!!! I know you probably don't get alot of this writing but thats because i'm writing this really fast!!! Bye!!!

Well....... that is a tough-o-rooni question I don't think I use my talents and then I go... YES WHOO YEAH!!!!!!!! I DID IT!!! because that is spazing and that would be Joeys job. I mean normaly at recess when I score or get a touchdown I do a little dance wich J-Dog or Jonathan could do better until I watched it on you-tube 4 times. Or that one time I got on the honor roll but thats not that great I mean come on it was 1st quater it took no knowledge on my part. I mean Joel did it all 4 quarters so if he doesn't think he has anything to write about BOLOGNA!!! Yes thats how you spell it trust me I saw it on a comercial this kid was like My bla bla bla bal bla bla B O L O G N A Souja Boy Tight

One of my proudest moments was when I got my own room. I used to have to share a room with my sister who has a lot of energy of night unlike me who has to go to bed before 10:00 or I will be crabby in the morning. It was very hard trying to covince my sister to move downstairs my mom and I finally convinced we gave her a TV. and promised to get flower pictures for her walls. Another proudest moment would be gettting my bookshelf because I used to keep all of my books in a bathroom cabinet. My dad and I went to Shopko and bought one but I still need more space for my books. Those are my least favorite proudest moments.

The most proudest moment of my life was when I was at Buckskin Bowmen shooting archery
for a balloon shoot they had .I went over to shoot balloons and when I got over there I saw people gathering around and what saw was an opportunity to show how good I was at archery, there was a three by three inch card that everyone had one shot to hit the target. I waited twenty minutes and when we started to go I went up to the card shot to shoot it, even though my sights were off balanced I picked up my bow, put an arrow in it, pulled my bow back, and shot. I closed my eyes and the next thing I knew people were cheering and saying good job and awesome .I felt very proud of myself ,I shot a small card from 20 yards away and right in the Middle for a bulls-eye too.

Hi Miss Miller!! Hm..., that's a tough one. If I could choose the proudest moment of my life, it would probably be when I was in 5th grade. Me and Alicia where just about to go up and sing our solos for the Christmas program. I was nervous because this was the biggest crowd that I had ever sang in front of. But when I got up there, the butterflies in my stomach went away and I just sang. For the next week, people kept coming up to me and saying "You where wonderful singing Megan!", "You have such a beautiful voice!", "You where good Megan!" I really felt happy then because people enjoyed my singing. Well, that"s all for now! See 'ya later Miss Miller!

I think the proudest moment was when we were in computer class. We were typing and when we started I was already finished because every morning I would come in early and type. So the whole class period I got to play games! Another time was when I was in rec. baseball and it was the first year of coach pitch. So the whole summer before the season started my dad helped me practice hitting. When the season started I was the best hitter on the team and I always hit the ball into the outfield! Those were probably some of the proudest moments of my life, so far.

Well my most favorite moment was when i was at soccer pratice and my defence was really good that day i normally stink at defence in soccer but today i dont know what happened i just did my best that day, and now when i play defence im REALLY bad, sometimes i try to kick to hard and miss the ball. Anyways i play Midfeilder not defence. I think God gives us lots of talents like me im good at midfeild and thats the talent that God gave me or like Stephanie she runs alot and really fast and thats what God gave her as a talent. Everyday you get better at your talent and you grow into it more and thats what talents are all about.

I remember in the 4th grade in reading class we just got done with the Chronicles of Narnia, the Lion, the witch, and the Wardrobe, and Mr. Shaubs who was our reading teacher always let us do an actievitie after the book and I came up with an idea that we should design our own mythical creature. But by then the movie was alreadey out on DVD so I had better idea.I told Mr. Shaubs that we should save money to buy the movie. So we bought it and watched it and after everyone claped for me and I felt proud.

Well the thing I am most proud thing is when I had my Northern and Bass incident. My dad my brother and I were out on a boat fishing when I was bringing in a fish when I saw an outline of a huge fish. Quickly I grabbed up the fish that was in the water and the outline went away. The next fish I had on my line I reeled in very slowly when zip! The line was flying out of my reel! When I brought the Northern in my dad put a face-breaker on the Northern and the Northern gave a big kick and fell in the water, face-breaker and all. The same day the last cast I caught a 15 inch Bass. What a day!!!

The best three days of my life is when I got the trophy for winning wildcat speed three years in a row in wildcat basketball camp. The first year I was racing a really fast kid named Niki. The first time Niki and I raced, Me and him stamped the race, but at Niki and I were head to head when we finished the race we had to do it over, because we tied,
So when we did a do over I won, but I slid in to a chair. The second time I won by a lot and yes the third time I won by like a mile, but my pants almost fell down. That is my most proudest things in my life and I have three trophies to prove it.

Coleton, stop stealing my catch fraises like Bananas are high in potassium. OK, now that that’s out of the way, I could not really think of my proudest moment so I will choose the time the Grafton Gladiators played the Cedarburg Colts. Even though we didn’t win, I played my part on both sides of the field pretty good. I am a starter for offence and defense. We were the receiving team after the coin toss. It was really fun playing offense first. We got a TD, so then we kicked off. I think defense is a lot more fun because there is no penalty for holding, and you can tackle. I’ll get down to the point. My proudest moment in that game was getting my name called out on the loud speaker four times, for four tackles.

My best talent I think would be drawing and art. I am the best at art because I spend a lot of time drawing pictures and sculpting. I’m better at drawing because I don’t sculpt as much. I like to draw knights with amour and swords because I like the Middle Ages. Throughout the years in my 11 years of living I’ve always loved to draw. When I draw I think as I go along instead of thinking what I’m going to draw before I draw it. When I draw I don’t really think of anything around me except for school when I listen to the teacher and what she/he is saying. But when I draw I just feel happy because art is so beautiful.

The most proud thing I can think of is last this year during base ball. I was up at bat and I smacked it to the center fielder and he almost caught it but missed so I ran my fastest and rounded first than I rounded second but that instant the ball hit me in the head but I was running to fast and I couldn't stop and I was sure that I was going to be out but I kept on going once I hit third I saw that the pitcher was bobbling the ball so I decided to run home and I made it HOMERUN my hole team was happy and gave me a high five. All together I made 3 homeruns in that season. And that is my proudest moment!

The most proud thing I could remeber was when we were playing in a basketball tournament it was are last game of the season we were down be 7 in the first half but we were able to come back in the fourth quarter and with one second left on the clock Nathen got fouled and he shot the winning free through and are team ran on the court and gave him high fives I played really good that game.I also remeber when I was playing baseball and I was up to bat and I hit it in right field when I saw the ball go over the right fielders head I new right a way that a was going to score when I was around third base the ball came into home but it went over the fence so I got to come home. THE END.

Mine probably has to be when I first swam 200 Freestyle. I was so excited and so proud of myself, I got so many congratulations especially from my friend Lauren G. Even though I placed near the end like 52nd I still was proud because it is very easy to get D.Qed in a swim race. Even though I don’t swim anymore because of my shoulder and have moved on to Tennis I still have the ribbons and a brother to prove that I swam that 200 when I was only nine. So I guess that would be the moment that I chose and I will always remember that and treasure it.

one thing I’m really proud of is my piano awards/practice, I have been the most to practice the piano out of every one who takes piano from my piano teacher through out the whole year I’ve played. Out of all that practice, I got really good at piano and for federation I got my first superior rating. My teacher says that I’ve been going through the piano practice book faster than most people do. I really like piano and can catch on fast to new songs. Sharps and flats were really hard in the middle of summer but now I can play them in my sleep. I practice thirty minutes every day, witch my piano teacher says is good. Many people ask me how I practice each day but I just find time to do it every day.

When I got all A's and B's on my last report card in fifth grade. That is one of my proudest moments becouse I allways had just one C and I am more proud that I got no C's and all A's and B's.I usually was deprest that I had one C becouse I thought that I had all A's and B's.On my last report card I knew I had all A's and B's.I was so proud I knew that in 6'th grade I will do fine.I worked hard not just to get good grades but to understand it and know how to do it. Thats one of my proudest moments.

Hmmm, that's a tough one. if i had to pick one it would either be the time i was riding my thoroughbred cross Tongo before he was trained and suddenly, for no reason, he started to buck. i was so proud of myself for staying on. it wasn't easy. i was also very proud at the time because my idol\trainer, heather goelz, said she could'nt have done it better herself. i was so happy.the other moment i would be most proud of is when i started mt all A's and the occasional B streak. i was so proud. thale are both of my best moments.
