Ahh, so many great books and so little time to talk about all of them! I really loved "Charlotte's Web" and probably read it about 10 times before I got out of Elementary School. The first time I heard the book I was in second grade and our school janitor read it to us. He was amazing and the voices he had for the characters were priceless.

Another favorite book was "Where the Wild Things Are". I loved how naughty Max was and the fun adventure that he had while being sent to his room.

Anything by Roald Dahl was always fun to read. The way he made the kids seem normal and the adults seem crazy was something that few other authors would do. Plus, his books were so imaginative that they got my creative juices going.

I gobbled up the "Little House" series when I was in 4th grade and even remember having a reading contest with a friend who was reading the same series.

The first 2 books I could read all by myself were "Mike's New Bike" and "Hiram's Red Shirt" and my parents still have them at their house, now for my nephews and niece to enjoy. Those titles will always be favorites!

At Christmastime, my mom would always read "Santa Mouse" to my sister and me and we loved that book, mainly because it was my mom's when she was a little girl and she shared it with us.

In High School, I loved reading books like "The Jungle" and 'Lord of the Flies". They really made me think about life in very different ways.

Finally, one of my favorite books from the past 10 years is "A Prayer for Owen Meany" (you may have seen the movie based off of the book called "Simon Birch"). I loved the message that God will use all things to work for the good of his children.

I know this was quite a long lament about my favorite books, but I couldn't possibly pick just one! :0)

Since there are over more then I can count amount of books in the world I'll just tell you all of the books I've enjoyed cause I can not just pick one it would be to challening. My favorite books are Pictures of Hollis Woods,Hoot, the sisterhood of the traveling pants series,Hope was here,Diary of a Wimpy Kid,The Report Card,Where I'd like to be,Everything on a waffle,Red Dog,Miracle on 49th street,Island of the Blue Dolphins,Dovey Coe,Ida B.,Loser,Willow Run,the secret school,Travel team,The lemonade war, the Andrew Clemens books,a Corner in the Universe, but above all those books my favorite book is Bridge to Terabithia it is a story about two friends that go into the woods and create a world of their own to get away from the real world and school(bullies). They create this amazing world and build a fort and bring food inside of it. They also have a movie based on it but in the book I'm pretty sure they don't have creatures there fighting against. Those are only a few of my favorite books!

I've read so many book's that I don't think I can remember all of them but here are a few favorites of the past time of my life: Wolf Brother, Spirit Walker, Soul Eater,(and no these books are not goth}, Maniac Magee, Cracker, Jonny Tremain, Good Night Moon, Winn-Dixie, Charlottes Web,Drums of War,all the Harry Potter books, all the Charlie Bone books, Miracle on 49th Street,Heat,Nancy Drew,The Hardy Boy's,The Rise of the Black Wolf,Shiloh,The Very Extended Order of Merilee Monroe,Blood Gold,Hatchet,Kringle, and Born Into Light. But one of the best books I've read is Crossing the Wire. It's a book about a Mexican teenager who tries to become a illegal immigrant and find work in the U.S. He gets caught a bunch of times but keeps on going. The reason I love this book is because it's full of adventure, suspense, action and mystery.

My favorite book when I was little was Myrgatroid. I don’t remember much about the book because it got destroyed and removed from the library. But I do remember that it was about a guy who never washed his hair. Now I have a lot of favorite books. Most of them consist of short stories. I really like the Calvin and Hobbes series. Those are comics about a second grader who has a big imagination and his stuffed tiger comes to life. Calvin gets in a lot of trouble for things like driving the car through a garage door and flooding the house. I also enjoy the Midnight Library series, which are 3 short super scary stories in one book.

I am not really a big reader, but if I had to choose my favorite book ever it would be a book like Hatchet. I don’t really know what my true favorite is but for now I will go with Brian’s Winter. I really like that book because I like how there is always something exciting going on. In most books there is an area where the book is really dull, but because the book is pretty short, there is a not long part with nothing going on. Another reason is because I like the action in the book. There are so many parts in the book where you don’t know what is going to happen next. In most books, you can pretty much guess what is coming next, but in Brian’s Winter you have no idea what will happen next. That is why Brian’s Winter is my favorite book.

I’ve read lots of books and I don’t know which one would be my favorite book. One of my favorites is City of Ember or a series of books called Gregor the Overlander. In these books Gregor, a kid that lives in New York City, finds an underground world where all the animals are huge but the humans aren’t huge they stay the same size. Another series of books I liked was a series called Pendragon. In this series a boy named Bobby can travel to different universes with different people and animals. He has to save the universes from mixing too much and collapsing. Another person called Saint Dane is trying to make them collapse also has the same powers as Bobby. Those are some of the greatest books I’ve read.

I think my favorite book would have to be the face on the milk carton by Caroline B. Cooney. It was about a girl named Janie; she is stolen by a girl named Hannah. Hannah leaves her parents for a group called the cult. So Hannah takes Janie to her parents and told them that this was her daughter but it really wasn’t. So Hannah goes back to her group and leaves Janie there. So than one day when she’s at school she sees her face on a milk carton so she takes it from her friend to look at it. Then one day she finds the dress that she is wearing in the picture in there attic. So a week later she asked her parents who Hannah is. If you want to find out what happens next please read the book. I really liked it so I am telling you about it.

My favorite book would have to be from when i was little. The book was called"Time for Bed." This book was written by Mem Fox and illustrated by Jane Dyer. Some of the things i like about this book is that it has a ll these animals relating to what happens in uor everyday lifes. I also like how it ends off with a real person. but out of all these reasons my top one has to be having someone like my mom read it to me. This is my favorite book and i would give a 20 out of 10. I hope i have incouraged some people to look at this book.

Out of all the books in the whole wide world my favorite was probably Three Days! It is a really good story even though it is sad but I read it in like 1 day! It is a story about a girl who goes with her dad on a business trip in a foreign country and they get in a car accident while they are there. Her dad is out in a heart attack and she doesn't know the language the people speak. She is stuck there for three days until she can finally get a hold of her mom. She is shivering, cold, and wet. It is a really good story. Some of my favorite books when I was little were Jamberry, Ten in the Bed, The Ten Little Monkeys, Owen and his blanket and Wemberly worried. You have probably heard of some of these books before. Another good book that I have read is called Little Princess. It is about a little girl who is sent to a school in India and while she is there her father dies. He is the only left of her family. Then the teacher at her school makes her home the attic (it used to be a royal home). She makes friends with these people across the street that is really her dad's friends who are looking for her. They don't know it is her though and she doesn't know it is her dad's friends. Then once they find out it is her she does not have to live in the attic anymore and she lives with them. They were looking for her for 2 years and she was just across the street. It is a good story. These are some of my favorite books.

My favorite book is called "A Tale of Two Houses". Its about these two guys named Nick and Joe. Nick wants to build a house right on the beach and he wants it fast so he builds his house on sand. Which isn't very smart. Joe wants a house on the beach too so he finds a nice sturdy rock to build his house on. Joe builds his house on the rock which took a long time, but he finished and had a sturdy brick house. The next night there was a huge storm and it wiped out Nick's house and all Nick had left was his pet parrot. Joe house though wasn't harmed a bit. In the morning Joe is walking along the beach with his dog and sees Nick hopelessly sitting on the beach and Nick's destroyed house. Joe than helps Nick build a new house on a nice sturdy rock and they both become friends. I like this book because it teaches you a lesson and gives you a bible verse..."Those who listen to My words and do them are like a man who builds a house-he digs down deep and lays a foundation on rock. And when a storm comes and the floodwaters rise, that house will not be shaken. But those who hear My words and don't do them are like the man who builds on the sand with no foundation. As soon as the storm and floods come that house will fall down and be completely destroyed."
Luke 6:47-49

i would have to say my favorite book are the childrens books by Max Lucado. they taught me a lot about life. the book that influenced me the most was "You are Mine". It was about a little wemick named Punchanello. He was being judged by how well he looked. you were judged with either stars squares or circles. circles were the worst. punchanello got all circles. so he went up to his creator. his creator talked to him for a little bit. punchanello then realized that how people judge you is not important its what you think of yourself.

Well in all the books that I have read I really haven’t had a favorite yet (surprisingly).I do enjoy historical fiction like the Royal Diaries Series. I also enjoy good novels like the Ember Series (City of Ember, People of Sparks…ect.).I have just recently finished the Laura Ingalls Wilder series and recommend that series to anyone because by brother owns those books and enjoyed them very much. There was a book though that I have read and it was called Sand Dollar Summer. I liked it very much and it was very interesting. It was about a girl with a six year old brother who doesn’t talk and a mother who wants a vacation in Maine and goes there with her two kids. I ends up the little boy starts

I have so many favorite books. One is Black Beauty. It really makes me feel for the characters. Like when Beauty becomes sick, I get so sad. I also like the book Star In The Storm. The story is about a Newfoundland who saves almost 1000 lives in a big storm. Another cool book was called 4-pound-hero. The book was about a 4-pound Yorkshire terrier named Smoky who saved more than 5000 lives during World War 2. My last favorite book is called Flipped. Its about 2 kids where 1 likes the other, but the other doesn't like the other back, then their feelings flip. It's so funny. These are my favorite books. SEE YA LATER MS. MILLER!!!!

My favorite book would probably be Daley B. This is a little kid book that I read when I was a little girl around 2-5 years old. This was my favorite book I would have my parents read it to me every night and I finally started reading the parts that I remembered form when they read it to me. I like this book because it is about a rabbit that doesn't know anything. He doesn't know what animal he is. He doesn't know where he lives. He doesn't know what h is supposed to eat. He doesn't know why his feet are so big. The when a weasel came up to him the weasel told him that he was a rabbit. Later in the book the weasel tries to eat Daley B. and Daley B. uses his big feet to kick him across the woods. Then all the rabbits tell him that he is a hero and said I thought I was a rabbit. I like this book because it is really fun and still love to read it to my little brother. S othis is my favorite book.

My favorite book of all time is the book The Fall of the Templers. In this book Max and his friends have to find the amulet of Ohm or something like that. His best friend a wizard gets killed by the spear of Ragnarok. He goes on a quest to find the amulet before his dad does (insert evil music). When he finds the place where it is which is in the Underworld. His friends and his bodyguard and a few other adults find the place where it is and they get attacked by the black wolf organization. He runs away and finds the amulet. I’m not going the ruin it though.

My favorite book is from 3rd & 4th grade. It’s a series called the Guardians Of Ga’hoole. Its an exciting story about a little barn owl named Soren. In the first book he is captured and taken away from his family he then finds a owl named Glyph. Book two is about him meeting up with a few more friends named Twilight, Digger, his sister named Eglantine, Boron, and Ezylryb. The third book is about him trying to rescue someone. You would have to find out for yourself who he needs to rescue. I will give you a clue who he’s trying to save them from, Metalbeak. And for your information that’s his brother. You can read all of these books, (1-13). There’s also a new one coming out.

I don’t really have a favorite book but I’ll name some of my favorites. Well I liked the sequel to the City Of Ember a lot its name is the people of sparks. I started the next book in that series. I remember in 2nd grade I liked Magic tree house books a lot and read like 2 of them a week. Another series of books I liked a lot was a series called Hank Zipzer. I liked the book Heat by Mike Lupica. Another book that I thought was really good is Escaping the Giant Wave by Peg Kehret.

Well, I’m not really a big reader, but I just read a book about a kid who loves football, and can tell a play before it happens by looking at the formation. It’s called Football Genius. This book is about a kid that lives in Atlanta Georgia who’s a huge Falcons fan, and he made a bet with a jerk kid that his mom works with the Atlanta Falcons. Well at the time she didn’t, but he lived close to an all-pro linebacker Seth Halloway. He snuck into his backyard and stole an official Atlanta Falcons football. He got in trouble with his mom because of the football, and she almost loses her job. More later he gets to help the Falcons to win a game with the playcalling by looking at the opponents formations. He also sets his mom up with Seth, and he gets a job with the Falcons for $10,000 a game. Then Seth, him and his mom go on a cruise to the Caribbean or something, and Seth becomes his new 6th grade football coach.

Reading isn't one of my favorite things to do. But the best book I have ever rad was for IRP in 4th grade and it was called The Great Quaterback Switch. It was a Matt Christopher book. In this book there are twin brothers who play football (Quaterback) but Michael (the older twin also starting QB) got into a serious accident that injured him and put him in a wheelchair. One other thing about this book is that Tom (the younger twin) and Michael can read eachothers minds. Some questions that you might have when you are reading this book are: Can Tom and Curtis's minds switch bodies? Is Tom a good QB? What was the tragic acciedent that happend to Michael? and I want you to read the book. Yes I'am asking YOU to read this book

If i where to pick one of my favorite books it would probubly be The Lightning Theif. I liked the book because it had ancient mythical creatures, Greek gods, it was adventureous, and it was action packed. Percy Jackson figures out he is the son of Suese the greek god and his master bolt which can destroy the world is stolen so he has to go find it. He incounters many batles trying to find the master bolt and then his jerk relative Ares stole it so he fights him to get it back.

My favorite book would have to be one of the books in the Seirra Jensen Series (Sequel to Christi Miller Collection). It's nice because they're about girls our age but the cool thing is that the author is Christian and all the books in the series are Christian. Seirra is a person with a really strong faith and meets Christi Miller on a mission trip. The books are both written in the voice of the girls but if you want to read them read the Christi Miller Collection because that one ends at the beginning of the mission trip and the Seirra Jensen Series begins at the end of the trip. I would recogmend both the Seirra Jensen series and the Christi Miller series to all the girls around our age because they're both about girls dealing with things that we are or will be soon. READ THEM......THEY'RE AWESOME!!!!

I meant to say If you want to read them read the Christi Miller Collection First!!!

I’ve read a lot of books so far and I actually don’t really have a favorite, so I’ll tell you a few that we really liked… “The City of Ember” because it was an interesting plot and setting…I mean I’ve never read any book where people live underground and escape by going down a river. There was a lot of mystery in the book too, like when they went into the pipe-thing place and they find the whole storeroom and when Looper was stealing stuff for him and Lizzie. One of my favorite parts was when they escaped down the river…There was a lot of suspense in that part of the book, and that’s why I love that part! Another one of my favorite books was “The BFG” that we read in 1st or 2nd grade. I don’t remember much about that book, but I know it was definitely one of my favorite books (and I loved all the funny words they made up) One of my last favorite books was “Thunder from the Sea”. I read it for one of my book reports and I’ve read that book several times. Every time I read it, I find something new and exciting that I didn’t catch the last time. So, these are some of my favorite books.

P.S- HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!!!! :-) :-)

P.S. 2- Miss Miller, this is LT's blog! :-)

P.S. 3- Miss Miller, there is something wrong with the nickname thingy-ma-bobber

The books I always so very loved was the Magic Tree House series. My favorites were The Earthquake one and the saber-tooth one. I like the saber-tooth one the best because it was cold and snowing and they find a cave. It was just a good adventure. The earthquake one was cool because they were always so interested in what was going to come up. They also are trying to get back to the tree house before they got hit by something caused by the earthquake. That is why I love the Magic tree house series so much because of all the adventures and mysteries.

They have to go on a crusade in witch they fight these slug-like creatures. I liked the city of ember because it shows what teamwork can do. For instance Lena and Dune they find out that there was an opening to the city of sparks. I liked it how you find out that ember is underground. I like it how poppy found the beginning thing for the exit and the diary. In all it was a great book

Hi Miss Miller. I've read so many good books i can't even begin to tell you about them all. I loved the door within series, which is about how three friends all travel to a world called The Realm, which was supposedly once connected to our world, but the two worlds were seperated by the Schism, which happened when the Wyrm Lord, or Dragon Lord, spilled the blood of the firstborn glimpse, Torin. The Kingdom of Alleble, inside The Realm is ruled by King Elaim, the one true king. But, there is an imposter who was the sentinel, or right hand warrior, of King Eliam. Because he was so close to King Eliam Paragal, as he was called then, became very wise and fair, and many people loved him. People began to come to both Paragal and King Eliam for advice, but more always came to King Eliam, for he was perfect. Paragal became jealous of King Eliam, and started working on a plot that would eventually kill King Eliam, and put himself on the throne. So, one night, Paragal rounded up some people he had turned against King Eliam and captured all of the people of Alleble and threw them into a fountain filled with oil. Teh seventh fountain. King Eliam could see the future, so he came out of his chambers and out onto the balcony overlooking the seventh fountain. There Paragal threateened to burn all of the people alive if King Elian didn't allow himself to be sacrificed, making Paragal king. King Eliam loved his people, so he lay upon the alter located on the balcony. Paragal raised his sword, meaning to end the life of the mighty king, but then King Eliam spoke. "Remember Paragal, I am letting you do this. You did not make me. Also, if you commit this foul deed, your name will be Paragor, which means Bright Light Stained Forever Dark. Remember this Paragor, as you try to crown youself king." So Paragor slayed King Eliam, but he was cast out of the Kingdom of Alleble. Each book in the door within series is about one of the friends going on a mission for the one true king to defear Paragor.

My favorite book is "The Quilt Makers Gift". this is a good book about a lady that makes quilts for poor and homeless people. When a greedy king learns that she has not given him any gifts, he tries to take a quilt from her, but she throws it in the air and the wind takes it. then the king punishes her, but she ends up safe. She tells him that he has to give away all he has for one of her quilts. He then gives everything he has away and recieves a wonderful quilt.

H is tangled up with I.
J and K are about to cry.
L is knotted like a tie.

M is looped.
N is stooped.
O is twisted alley-oop.
Skit skat skoodle doot.
Flip flop flee.

Look who's coming!
It's black-eyed P,
Q R S,
and loose-tooth T.

Then U V W
wiggle-jiggle free.

Last to come
X Y Z.
And the sun goes down
on the coconut tree...

But-
chicka chicka boom boom!
Look, there's a full moon.

A is out of bed,
and this is what he said,
"Dare double dare,
you can't catch me.
I'll beat you to the top
of the coconut tree."
Chicka chicka
BOOM! BOOM!
