Travels from Afar (or Nearby)

Travelling is one of my favorite things to do when I have free time and spare money. I have had great trips that took me far away and nearby as well. Someday, I would like to travel to every continent. So far, I have been to Asia (China), Australia, and of course North America. Share about your favorite family vacation (even if it was in Wisconsin-some of my best travels have been no further than an hour or two away!)

Dear Miss.Miller,

It is called Lake Camelot. I go fishing, biking and boating there my Mom caught a Bluegill that was big and was a very dark blue shade. I also went a Reinactment with Noah. It was At The National Soldiers Home Historic District Milwaukee, it's near Miller Park. Noah And I also got to fire a Carbine Gun. On that Noah and I also got to go see Wood National Cemetary. We had a fun day.
I also was very busy with 4-h.
I missed some of the showing times because my Mom read the wrong times for Open Class! But still got three blues and one red.

I have alot of experience with traveling. When my dad was little his parents took him all over! And he's been to 47 states. I've been to 28 states, but I hope some day I can say I've been to all of them. Some trips I've taken are yellowstone in Wyoming, Glacier in Montana, and this year I went to0 Acadia in Maine. It was so cool because I got to swim in the salt water ocean.
Another thing we did in the east was going to Ben and Jerry's Ice cream factory, where they had tours. It was very yummy!
We did many things in Manie and another neat thing we saw was my dads colledge. He went to colledge at Dartmouth in New Hampshire.
My favorite part of the trip this year was shopping inFreeport and Bar Harbor Maine. All the trips we do we take our camper for about 2 weeks and stay at campgrounds. I lov traveling, it is so cool!!

I like to travel!! We go to Ohio alot because most of my dad's family members live there. My grandpa lives right in the boarder of Ohio and Weat Virgina. So we got to stay in to places at once. We stayed in West Virgina but we were mostly in Ohio! It was pretty cool. We also go to Flordia once a year. Last year was my frist year! It was awsome. I think it was like 2 or 3 years ago we went to South Dekota with Mallory and her family. We went to Mt. Rushmore. The reason we went there is because my dad has a motorcycle and he likes to go on those rides. We also got to see the corn museum. The whole thing is made out of corn. When i was about 5 or 6 my grandma took my family and I to Texas. It was cool. I cant remember alot because it was a long time ago. THE END!!!!

I have traveled to places in North America like Disneyworld, San Diego, Minnesota, and Mexico. One of my favorite places was Tennesse. My family and I went to Nashville and Memphis. We went to "The Country Music Hall Of Fame And Museum", Graceland, [Elvis's home],Belle Meade Plantation, Sun Studio and last, Studio B , Elvis's recording studios.
Another vacation that I loved was going to Mexico. We saw Mayan ruins, swam, watched shows, went to a water park where I swam with dolphins, took pictures with parrots, shopped and had a great time. One of the scariest times in Mexico was when the bus forgot to pick us up to go to the ruins. When we told the people at the hotel they called the bus and told the people that they forgot to pick us up. The people on the bus talled the people at the hotel saying that we were on the bus even though we were sitting on a bench waiting for them. Finally we got a taxi and drove to the middle of the highway and the taxi dropped us off by these guys with a van and the guys told us in spanish to get in the van and then we took off and we drove for 2 hours and they never talked to us or told us where we were going. Finally we drove up to a junky old marketplace and a half hour later we were finally at the ruins. While we were at the marketplace, we found a bus that could take us along and then the rest of the day went smoothly.

Last year me and my family went to Cancun, Mexico. We had lots of fun. My brother, my dad,and me, went snorkaling in the ocean where it was really clear and there were suprisingly no waves!! We went to a small town where almost everything was just shopping, dining, and scenery!!! I got to hold 2 parrots, 1 chameleon, 1 spider monkey, and a baby tiger! The hotel that we stayed at had huge pools, free snackbars, all you could eat buffets(free), and even underwater bars! I ate a whole lot of bacon!! :D

My far away trip was going to the Wisconson Dells. The reason i went to the Wisconson Dells is becauase i didnt have a birth day party this year so i had a late one realy late. I went on all the good rides with brett. My favorite ride was the BLACK ANDACONDA it was pretty long for a water slide. The wait was about a half an hour i think it was toataly worth it. Other rides like the Sting Ray and the Kowbonga were long waits two. The Sting Ray took about 45 minutes and the ride took 4 it was not worth the wait. The kowobonga was a pretty wimpy ride it took about 20 minautes it was not worth it. At the end of the day we went in the lazy river that was relxing. That was my far away travel or nerby eather or.

They have so much stuff you could not even imagine how much stuff they have. They have eight go cart tracks , five roller coasters ,A wave pool, they have such good food but it is kind of expensive. It was so cool , if Icould I would redue that day over and over again.I stayed there all day but we went back to are trailer to take a nap because my parents were pooped. We stayed the rest of the night till ten. I tryed to go on one more ride and it was Hades but the line was so so long so we went back to the trailer and went to bed. THE END
