Time Traveler
If you could go back to any time in history (from 20 years ago to the beginning of time-about 6,000 years ago) what time period and group of people would you go back to and why? What would your life be like? As you consider this question, remember that you would have to live the way the people lived back then; you couldn't bring modern conveniences with you.

I would probably go back to the time period around little house on the prairie. I have always thought it would be fun to try life in that time because there were no conveniences that would make me sit around and eat junkfood which they didn't have much of back then. I think another thing that would be fun from that time is being around horses almost all the time because that is the transportation from that time. School back then would be harder back then which would be good because then I would learn more in a shorter amount of time. Back in that time the women and girls mostly all knew how to cook which would be good becuse at this moment all I can make is macaroni and cheese, but the best thing about this would be living in a small town and knowing most of the people that live there. Now in the time we live in we don't know most of the people that live in the city/town, I don't even know the people that live 2 doors down ad across the street, and they have been there longer than us.
I would probably go back to the time in the 70's because they had the funniest dances and the way they dressed was really funky. And they had the coolest gogo boots and that was the era of the pretty good music I have to say my favorite song from the 70's was probably "Hot stuff". Guess what hair style was the most famous if you said Afro you got it right 60% of men had afro's back in the 70's. I would love to got to the 70's the end!
I would go back to live with the Wyoming Indians. I would get to have face paint all over me and I would learn how to set up a tee pie and learn the proper way to fish and hunt for things. I rhink the thing I would enjoy the most be meeting famous people like Pocahontas. I would also enjoy building the shelter out of tree braches and bamboo. Now if I was a kid back then I would have a fun time exploring things like rocks to climb on or logs to make games out of. I don't know what I would be wearing though maybe things my mom made for me which wouldn't be very nice. Some of my responsibilities would be cleaning and making things for familys. My brother If I had one would be out hunting while I would have to sit here doing absoulutely nothing. Boring! My food would be corn on the cob or beans. I hate beans. I would make friends too friends that like adventure and taking risks!
I would choose to go back to when there were knights and castles so I could fight and defend for my castle. I would choose this time period because I think it is the best period of time besides today. I would love to have a sword, catapult, and dagger and fight of the attacking enemy. It would be fun to learn how to use a sword and catapult. The best part though would the way I could tell everyone what it was like when I get back. This is the time period I would absolutely love to travel to.
I would go back to the times where Jesus was still alive and on earth. I would want to go there because i think it would be pretty awesome to meet Jesus and the 12 diciples. I would like to see all the bible stories come to life. it would be very cool but very very sad to see Jesus die. I think that those times were the best of times on earth because of you got sick or was about to die you have Jesus there to heel you. I would also love to try some of their food too!! It would also be very cool to be at the passover and see Jesus and the diciples break the bread!! That is the time i would love to be in!!
I would go back to the 70's and 80's. Because there are some sweet bands back then like ACDC and Black Sabbeth with ozzie osbourn and the Beetles. It would be sweet to dance under a discoball with a crazy Afro. I would live in a one storey house and a basement. I would live in the country. It would be funny when people are saying Groove and peace. We would drive around a van with the peace symbol on it like a hippie van. People would be acting like hippies and hoboes! My living would be pretty cool. Thats what I would go back to The End!!!!!!!!
I would probably go back to the 60’s, because the Green Bay Packers won the first two super bowls I and II. Another reason why I would go back to the 60’s that is what baseball would have been like back then, because there the teams were a lot smaller back then. My life would be just like know except I would not have a T.V. to play video games, but I would play a lot of the sports I play know. I would have all the friends I have now if they came with me. That is what time I would want to go to if I had a time machine
I would want to go back to the 70 because I would like to see what shopping would be like. I think it would be cool to see what type of parties they would have. Like what food or drinks, what type of clothes, and what music. I also would like to see what stuff they would have in there houses. What they would have in there bed rooms, bath rooms, kitchen, living room, and last but not least the work room. I would like to go to school with one of the kids to see what kind of work they would do, what they would learn, and how there teaching is different from ours. I wish I could see what their dinner is like and compare theirs with ours now. This is were I would want to go back and explore.
I would love to go back to '97 because I was little, cute, and got everything I wanted. when I was 2 my brother wasn't mean to me e just always wanted to hold me and take care of me he didn't want to hurt me like he does know. When I was 2 my brother and I did not fight he was only 5 years old. The thing that I liked when I was 2 was that we went to Virginia Beach I always loved to go to Virginia. When I was 2 I would never let my parents put me down because I always wanted to be held. This is why I chose ’97.
I would like to go back to Jesus' time. I think it would be fun to see how they lived and maybe even see Jesus. I might be able to meet some of the famous people that we hear about all the time in the Bible. Even thought they didn't have technology, I would enjoy exploring their houses and their land and everything else. I would like to see Baby Jesus, but I would not like to see his death because it would be too gorey. I would definitely want to see Jesus after he rose again and the marks on his hands and side. So, if I could go back in time, that is where I would go.
I would go back to B.C. I would do that because I would get to see Moses. He is so cool he got to part the waters. My favorite part would be joining the army. I would like to be an archer in it. We would get to conquer the Philipians and chase off many armies and I would be in God's army. I would do what God said to me. The best part would be that I might get to see Jesus. God talks to you back then. When I wanted to play no one would be on the computer.

I would go back to the 70’s [the retro time] because it seems really cool back then. Every one had big afros and their was even hippy's back than,now you got to admit thats pretty awsome!!Elvis would also be there.My house would be super awsome!! Thare would be disco balls,and peace signs every were.I would have a fro,bell bottom pants,and platform shoes.

Miss Miller I decided I would go back about 25 years ago so that I could meet my grandpa Wunrow and my uncle Jim (Uncle Jim was grandpa Wunrow’s son). My mom tells me wonderful stories about them. My Uncle Jim was very adventurous and worked in Sequoia national park in California and died in King’s Canyon national park. My grandpa loved kids and even played with them too; (my mom told me).My grandpa drove a bread truck and had a heart attack in it. My aunt Linda was also grandpa Wunrow’s daughter. It would be wonderful to be around that time also because the whole family would be together.

Howdy Miss Miller!!!!!!! If I could choose to go back to any time period, I would probobly choose to go back 300 years ago to the Indians. I would probably bring my DS, a few clothes, my sketch pad, and about 5 books. I think it would be cool to have a cool name like Running Deer, or White Feather. I would just spend the whole day just hunting, and riding my horse. And at the end of the day, it would be fun to sit around the campfire telling stories.

I would definately go back to the 80's.It would be so cool!!!!!!!I mean,who doesn't like Steve Perry!I would be able to use words that were still in style like "tubular"and"radical","groovy"or"word".I would also get to see my dad be able to play football and make a tackle without him bending over and saying "Uhhhhh,my back!!!!"I would see him play for the CHS Bulldogs and the CUW Falcons.He was on the '83 champion football team at CUW as #54 middle linebacker and he held the record for the most tackles in a game and in a career with 21 tackles in one game and 420 for his career.Those records held for 10 years 'till some goon broke it in '93.There were also alot of great song artists in the '80s too.There was Steve Perry,Jon BonJovi,Loverboy,and Bruce Springsteen or John Meloncamp.Journey and their lead singer Steve Perry were the best of the best.One last thing.I would also be able to see my mom be captain of the pom-pom squad at UW.GO BADGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As you can see,the '80s are TUBULAR!!!!!!!!!!
i think it would be pretty awesome to go about twenty one years back. i would get to see both my parents as high schoolers. probably not a pretty sight, but whatever. i would get to see my dad play batminton, soccer, and football. Plus i would be able to see my mom be on the cheerleading scaud, and play volleyball. {if any of you came to the sixth grade girls last volleyball game, you would have seen that my mom has sort of lost her touch.}She fell over backwards when she went to block! I mean, come on. The best part about going back to when my parents were growing up is that if they are ever being really mean to me, i can just relate a powerfully embarrassing experience that they didn't even know that I knew about. HA HA, Mom and Dad!!!!

If i had to go back in time i would go back 5000 years and the people i would be around are the cave men and that would be cool because then i could learn their language and learn the cave wrightings and that would be cool then i would see all the old animals like the woly mamith and other old animals the animal that i would whant to rilly like to see is the saber tooth tiger and that would also be cool and that is what i would do if i whent back in time.
I would go back to the 80's and live in the city were there were cool cars like old mustangs and hot rods.To see older things and what happend and if there were different laws and rules and go to older music and and rock bands and older concerts to go to it would be fun. The things that would be bad is there were no ipods PS2 the newer games and not as good computers that we have now but I thenk it would still be fun.

If I could go back to any time in history I would go back to when people lived in castles. I would live in a castle and have a grand room. I would meet the princess, king, and queen(I wonder what they would be like?). I would explore the castle every day. Plus I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland. My life would be great except I might have to work. That would be bad. But if it means living in a castle I would do it. Oh, and like usual, I’ll probably think of a better idea to right about later

I would go back to yesterday and make sure I didn’t drop my dime into the sewers, just joking but I really would go back to yesterday for many reasons. For one I’m happy here in 2007 as we have many cool/helpful things that they don’t have in other time periods. Also if you went very far back in time what if you couldn’t go back? Also don’t you think everyone there would be kind of suspicious if you just magically appeared in their time? Even though I would like to change some things it could be dangerous because what if you messed up or time period (2007) by going there. That is why I wouldn’t go back in time.

The year I would go back to is when my parents were kids. The reason why is they always had lots of snow like as much so you could go on the shed roof. Then I could see what its like to be on a farm with my Dad. Or I could live in the country with my mom and with 5 other brothers and sisters. Then I could play baseball with them on their neighbors field in their backyard. Then I would also have easier homework to. Also with my Dad I could farm with him like plow the fields or play tractors with him and his friend Willie. I could milk and feed the cows too.

I think it would be cool to go back to 1980 because it would be awsome to see my parents when they where my age and see what their personalities would be like and how they would live I could even see other family members and how they lived. It would be kind of wierd, because my dad said when he was my age he only had seven chanels. I would also want to go back to the cowboy times it would be cool to ride around on horses and living out in the contry you could also learn how to lasso up cows and catch robbers those are the two time periods I would want to go back to.

I totally agree with Coleton, Joey would be a good hippie, I could just picture it, Joey going up to someone and going crazy like he does right now and just yell in someone’s face, “PEACE OUT!” And I could picture people with weird afros walking around. It would also be cool to have a weird looking hippie van. That is when I would travel back in time to.
If I could travel back in time i would go to see my sister, ashliegh, play soccer. my sister was not very agressive. I would have given my sister tips. I would also show her moves that she doesn't know. My siter was realy cool back then. My sister also played vollyball. I would also like to see her play vollyball(She actually wasn't to bad). I know that I don't like my sister alot but, it would be cool to see her do all these things and more. this is why I would go back to this time period. this is why my sister is cool.
If I could go back in time I would want to go back to Jesus' time. I would like to be like one of the wisemen or sheperds at Jesus' birth. I would also want God or an angel to talk to me. I would probably spend most of my time with Jesus(sort of like one of the 12.) I think it would be cool to get to see Jesus while I am a kid living on the earth. I would want to go back in his time to see what it was like,see their houses, see how people treated eachother and many other reasons.
If I went back in time, I would want to go back in the 70's because it was so cool back then. All the peace signs the disco balls. If i went back in time and i had a house in the 70's you would love it. It would be purple and green, i would have big fluffy couches and chairs and i would have lots of disco balls in my house it would be so cool.

If I had to go back in time I would go back to the time of Thermopile and Spartans because the rest of Lenities’ army that he left to stay back in case of an attack from behind. But they retreaded. So I would work my hardest to tell them not to retreat because if they wouldn’t retreaded the Spartans would of won the battle of Thermopile. It would be cool to be a Spartan because their military forces awesome. I would also like to back their because their armor and weapons were awesome to. That is why I would like to go back to the time of the Spartans.

I would take my video games and players and go back in time to when video games were invented. I would buy lots of the original video games and equipment. Then I would go to where my house was going to be, and bury the games there. I would show my new video games and technology to the people of the past. I would show them how cool the newer games would be. They would want to buy all my cool new games so they could figure out how to make them quicker. Then I would go back to the present time, dig up the old original games from under my house where I buried them I would keep one of all the old things, and I would sell the rest on e-bay. I would be rich, and have lots of fun!

I would like to go back to the 1920�s because of all the inventions that were made then. For example; the radio, indoor heating, and Cherry Cola. I loooooooove Cherry Cola. It tastes like a swirly mix of, well; you know�Do I really need to say it! So anyway, I also like nobody really cared in that period of time. I would! A huge war just happened, I�d be hiding from the Germans, their still alive�I think�Well that made no sense at all. Goodbye!
