John McCain and Barak Obama are busy preparing to win the election in November, but a surprise opening has arisen and you (yes you, a 6th grader) are now on the ballot for President. Write a short speech telling what you will do as President of the United States of America. What will you change? How? What will you make better? Why? I will make the our country stronger than any other country has been before. I will make sure the US is ready for any surprise attacks This nation will take care of creation by using solar, wind, water, and other powers like those. Our country will win the war in Iraq. We will send more missionaries to Africa, Asia, and Europe etc. The US will prosper and our language will grow. We will not waste money. The taxes will go down, the gas prices will go down and we will start drilling oil. We will be more business friendly. Marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman and there will be no abortion!
If I ran for president, I would want the country to get along with other countries. So that our country wouldn’t fight other countries! Other people would learn about different cultures and languages. I would also lower the cost of gas, and taxes. So our country would not haft to waste money/ paper. I would also set up a petition for animals, who need a home or loving and care. I would also treat everyone as equals. So no one would be treated poorly. Our nation would use reusable resources, like paper, plastic, and use solar powered things, like lights. And I would also use windmills for power.

Many sick people and children don’t have coverage. I would make sure that everyone has better health care, so sick people can get better. I would like to dig more wholes to get oil and then gas will be cheaper. In Africa I would have better relationships with government of Africa so people that live there would have better homes, heather food, and better care when people are sink. Hello Americans my name is Tyce Mentzel. I have alot of new changes to make for our country. I would like to lower taxes by 50%, So that everyone could have a cool car when we turn sixteen. I would also keep the driving age at sixteen. I would also lower gas prices so everyone could afford to cruise around town as much as they want. I would also make the school year shorter so we could enjoy our summers. I would also kick all of the principals out of the school and let the kids rule. We would have no wellness plan so we could have awesome sugary desserts at lunch. That's what I would do if you voted for me.
So, right in the middle of McCain and Obama’s restless campaign a new candidate comes me. I would try to spread vehicles that ran on Renewable recourses. Like solar, water, and possibly wind. After we’re settled on those resources we would stop buying oils from South America and Saudi Arabia. I would stop fighting with other countries and the U.S.A. would become a peaceful country. I would also help make the war vehicles run on renewable resources too. We would improve our weapons in case we absolutely needed to go to war, but still I would try to avoid all possibilities of War. This is what I would run for if I was running for president.

If I ran president I would change some things about our country. First I would make sure there are people looking for cancer and other types of medical illnesses. Second I would make the gas prices go down to what they were before like $2.00 and resolve the problems we have with other countries and be friends with everyone. Third I would get rid of drugs and gangs plus you can only have a certain amount of alcohol. Hello fellow Americans I know that you may be angry about Mr. Bush’s speech last night. I would put a stop to that I would have a separate channel to post breaking news. I also would try to help the economy by producing more fuel efficient cars. I would try to get our country out of the financial pit we are in. If I were president of the United States, I would make all the cars run on solar power so we could stop depending on foreign oil. I would also make farmers grow corn for food and not fuel so food prices would become more affordable around the world. I don’t know enough about what the president does or needs to get done to know how to help change the way things are done. Dear fellow classmates, I don’t think that I would make a very good President---however, if by some strange happening I would end up there, there are many changes I would like to make in our world that we live in. I would do something to make the gas prices lower so that people are not affected like they are. I hear my Mom & Dad talk about high taxes; I think that something should change there too. Also, there are people who don’t have medical coverage and that just isn’t right, everyone should be able to get the medical attention that they need to stay in good healthy. And, I would not allow them to eliminate the saying “In God We Trust”! We need God in our lives!

Dear Fellow Americans, this is the time of war between us and Iraq. Do we have to go on about this war? Let’s just move our troops out and then move in with full forces to win the battle! Next, the price of gas has gone up because of the hurricane. We got to come over this time of great lack of gas and stop wondering about it. We got to use a different fuel that is not corn or gas. When we use corn our gases will go up. We do not want this! My scientists have just found a way to use pedals and legs to power cars! (Not really)We can stop using gas and help our planet. After that since the war is over the taxes will go down! People will stop having to pay so high taxes! Then if we use the gas money we can build a force field around the USA so nothing can hurt us! This year I, Abby am running for president of the United States of America. I am proud to be apart of the republican party and think I would be great at serving the country I love as president. Some reasons that I would be a great president are, I am very patriotic, conservative, and am strongly against abortion and think that it is wrong and that we as Americans should give babies a chance at life. Some important changes need to be made in America and I as president will do just that. One of the main changes I will make is lowering the gas prices. I would give money to research cures for cancer, diabetes heart dieses and strokes. Give more grants to collage students. Help disasters like hurricanes, floods, tornados and tsunamis. If I were president I would lower gas prices so that people do not have to pay so much just to get to work. I also would make it so women make the same amount of money as men do especially when they are doing the same jobs. I would make sure all the roads have no pot holes and would be fixed so that people would not get into accidents. Furthermore, I would make hospital bills half the price they are now. If I were president I would be honest and trustworthy. Everyone would be able to count on me and my word.
