Time Traveler

If you could go back to any time in history (from 20 years ago to the beginning of time-about 6,000 years ago) what time period and group of people would you go back to and why? What would your life be like? As you consider this question, remember that you would have to live the way the people lived back then; you couldn't bring modern conveniences with you.

One day, in the medieval times a knight rode the through the José woods. This knight’s name was Sir Stick boy. He was a skillful Knight who was very wise. He was on a mission to kill a Mythical Dragon. Stick boy was sort of angry because he didn’t believe that there really was a dragon. So after climbing up what he thought to be 6 mountains he entered the valley of Peace. He soon came to the beast’s liar, but disappointed all he saw was a large lizard about 7 feet long. So he put it on his wagon and took it back to the Castle which was soon later called a Komodo Dragon. So all the people were relieved that the dragon was just a myth.

If I could go back in time I would go back to 1982 because I would like to see the Milwaukee Brewers play and almost win the World Series. To get into the Playoffs all the Brewers would have to do is win 1 of the 4 games against the Baltimore Orioles. This series would end the regular season. Winning 1 out of 4 games is SUPPOSED to be pretty easy. It was the exact opposite. After losing the first 3 games they knew that they had to win this final game to make it into the Playoffs. Robin Yount came up big for the Brewers hitting 2 home-runs and 1 triple receiving 11 total bases leading the Brewers to a win over the Orioles 10-2. In the Playoffs the Brewers made it all the way to the 7th game of the World Series which was pretty good for a team who had to play 161 games before knowing if they were going to get in the Playoffs. As you all know the Brewers are in the Playoffs but what you didn’t know is that some of the things that happened in 1982 are happening this year also. Just like 1982, the Brewers had to wait until their last game was over before knowing if they were going to make the Playoffs. Another interesting fact is that the Brewers picked up C.C. Sabathia in the middle of the season who helped the Brewers to reach the Playoffs and in 1982 the Brewers picked up Don Sutton in the middle of the season who also helped the Brewers make it into the Playoffs. The time is right and so are the similarities between 1982-2008. The World Series is only a month away, it may seem far away but it is closer than you think. I will hopefully C.C. you in the World Series. :)

I think I would go back to the 1950’s because I think it would be so cool. I love the restaurant Wayne’s world because that place is cool too. I love rollerblading as well and that too was very popular back then in the 1950’s. It was like in “Happy Days” the TV show when Rock and Roll came out and Elvis became popular. The girls would wear poodle skirts. I think that’s funny and cute. The boys would wear leather jackets. Then they listen to Am radio. My life would be very different from how we live today - like we wear different clothes. More things have been invited then in 1950’s from all the way to 2008 right now time period. Cable didn’t come out for log time you would have 3 or 4 channels and people would dress up a lot.

I would go back to 1982 because I would want to see the Brewers in the World Series. I would be at County Stadium in the first row right behind the dugout cheering the Brewers on. I would have been at every game in the season and playoff. When the Brewers won, I would be running on the field jumping up and hugging Robin Yount. He was the best player ever to play for the Milwaukee Brewers. I would live in a small house because I would never be at home but at the brewer games. That is why I would to 1982.

If I would go back in time I would go to the 80's. I think it would be so cool everyone is so funky and they wear neon colors and don't match. It would be different because there wasn't ipods only walkmens, no cell phones and only very basic computers. Also big hair was in style.I think living in the 80's would be awesome

I would go back to when the Romans conquer Egypt. I want to see the great treasures of pharaohs and the great pyramid. My life would be that of a weapon maker and I would make the finest weapons in history. With the weapons that I make Rome will conquer more land than any other empire has and is to come. Rome will become populated and rich. The Romans won’t fall because more men will want to join the army and the emperor will have more people to help him control the territories. The Romans will have some enemies and some allies. I would be rich and Christianity would be the main religion.

I would be on the red carpet for all the big premires and parties. Id go undercover to help with bad people. Mooses21 411 tv channel would be run by me. If I could go back in time, I would go back to Jesus’ time. Why you ask, because I would want to see some miracles that He has done. I know what you’re thinking. Why not read about His miracles in the Bible, or even hear about them? Well if you had the chance to go back in time wouldn’t you want to see His miracles in real life? Well, I know that I would.
I would also want to see two particular miracles. The first one is Daniel in the loins Den, and Jesus’ rising! Why, because I would want to see how God kept Daniel safe, and I would also like to see What Jesus’ nail holes, and what they look like.

If I were to travel back in time I would go back to Oct. 2nd, 1950 so I could be able to see the first Peanuts comic published in local newspapers. I would show Charles Schulz my comic, BBQ parrot, in hope that I would be able to help him draw and create his comics and ideas. I think we would make a fabulous team. I would also like to help Charles Schulz because then I could be able to see rare comics and sketches plus items that today are worth hundreds of dollars. I think that working alongside Charles Schulz would help me to come up with more great new ideas for BBQ parrot.

If I could go back in time, I would first go back and see the dinosaurs. I want to see what colors the dinosaurs really were. Was a T-rex purple? Was a stegosaur black with orange strips? Was a Triceratops green with blue waves? After I would found that out I would see God’s miracles. One would be Jesus rising from the dead. Another would be seeing the tongues of fire burning on all the disciples’ heads. Maybe I would go back to see Peter walk on water. I wonder how I would watch that. Maybe take a ride on a private boat or maybe hitch-hike on the disciples’ boat. Then I would head home for some TV (I would sure miss TV after my time-traveling).

If I would travel back in time it would be the time of the tower Babble and I would help them build it but wait … THEY CAN’T UNDER SAND WHAT THERE SAYING.

So after all that screaming they finished building it then Gods voice came down from the heavens and then the people floated off into a different country.
And I just sat there doing nothing.
Boy this stinks I thought to myself and so that is where I would go for time travel .

If I could travel back in time I would go to the year 1982. There are a couple of reasons why I chose this year. One reason is there were still the modern conveniences that we are use to having today. Sure it would be fun to visit with the Indians, but I wouldn't want to go without heat and electricity. It would be really hard give up playing video games and watching T.V. too. Another reason I'd like to visit 1982 is the Milwaukee Brewers were a great baseball team. One more great reason to visit 1982 is I would be able to see my parents when they were kids, which would be a sight to see! It would probably provide lots of laughs.

If I could go back in time I would go to the colonial days where it was just the 13 colonies. I think it would be fun to wear fancy dresses and learn how to serve tea! Girls took lessons that taught them how to dance, sew, bake, serve tea, and maybe even learn how to play a musical instrument. It would have been intrusting to have heard about the Boston Tea Party and the war that was about to happen. The only way to get places was to walk or ride a horse. I would have chosen horse because you sit so tall and go so fast! That’s why I think it would be fun to go back to that time!

I would only go back 20 years ago in America. This way I would still have video games to play. 20 years ago would be the eighties. People were dressing differently and wearing their hair differently. Everyone has big hair! Back then we had Nintendo. the games are alot easier to play and not so complex. the grpahics are not as good though! Living in the eighties is not too much different than living today. I would probably hang out with skateboarders because I think they had those back then! I think that my life would be easier because I think that we have to do more homework now than what kids had to do back then. Or at least it wasnt as hard!

If I could go back in time I would go back to the year 1978. Why? That was the year my Mom was 11. I could see how messy her room was. Then I would see if she would have been a good friend. I also would have seen what she looked like. My mom says that she would have had braces. She would be wearing her body suit and polyester wrap-around disco skirt. I also would have liked to have seen hills of Hayward without a lot of houses and pushed dirt. I would definitely like to travel back to see my Mom in 1978.

One day my dad told me not to go into basement. That night I was trying to sleep when I heard what sounded like a power drill in the basement. An hour later I heard my dads foot steps coming up the stairs. About 30 minutes later I went to see if he was asleep. He was and he was snoring. So I went down stairs and looked. There was a thing that was the size of a small club house. That had a sign that said time machine. I was so surprised I fainted. When I woke up I was in the machine. I must have fell in I thought. The inside was covered with buttons. I saw one that said 6,000. I thought of Adam and Eve and dinosaurs Then I pressed the button. I felt dizzy. I disappeared then reappeared. I was in the Garden Of Eden. I heard rumbling then I saw trees being knocked down. A big dinosaur with sharp teeth came out of the forest and cam running to me. I was so scared I could not move. I waited for it to eat me but it did not. I remembered. It wont eat me because sin had not entered the world yet. So I jumped on its back and it started to run. Then it stopped right in front of a river I went flying of and belly flopped into the river. That was the most fun day of my life. I swam with dolphins rode on pterodactyls and ate lots of good fruit. Then I went home.

I would go back to when the cowboys won the super bowl. It was a good time and the best team in NFL won the Super bowl. I think it would be awesome to see Emmit Smith, Troy Aikmen, and Michel Irvin play football. I would have wanted to go to the super bowl and watch the three of them play! It would have been the coolest thing! I think Michel Irvin, Emmit Smith, and Troy Aikmen made a great team.80 This year I think we might have a winning football team with Terrel Owens, Marian Barber, and Tony Romo! They make a great team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

would go back to the time of the Egyptians and I would be a princess and I would have 4 little brothers and 1 little sister who would be two years old. The reason I picked to be in Egyptians is because I think they wore really cool clothes and it was a cool place to live in the palace. It would be cool to live because you would rule over everyone and get basically anything you want. Plus someday you would get to rule in place of your father or mother. So that is where I would go back in time.

If I could go back to any time, I would probably go back to to 1967, The Ice Bowl. The temp was -48 degrees. It would be funny to see the band that was to play before the game had to leave because the member's instruments froze to their lips and the refs whistles also froze to their lips so they had to use their voices. In the game everyone was slipping and sliding because the artificial turf heating system broke. Then I could see Bart Starr run 1 yard for a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys To win the NFC campionship.

If I could go back in time I would go back to 1985. I would go back to that time because I would want to go to a Celtics game. I would want to go to a Celtics game because I would want to see Larry Bird play. After the game I would go down to the locker room and get Larry Birds autograph. Then I as he was walking out to his car I would go up to him and ask him if he wanted to come over for dinner. We would have pizza. Then I would have him autograph more cards. That is why I would go back to 1985.

Well, I’m not sure that I would want to go back to another time and live without the “modern conveniences” we are so lucky to have. But, if I could go back to when I was an infant, and I didn’t have to go to school, and all’s I had to do was eat, sleep, and poop, oh and maybe cry occasionally, that might be okay for a while. Being waited on by everyone around me and having all the attention was really nice, and being able to play with toys all day long and watch silly videos was an okay way to spend the day.
